On a scale of one to ten this hotel is a zeroPosted Sep 18, 2015
Hair in the bathroom, stains on the carpet, stains on the ceiling, writing on the vanity, Monday Night Football was blacked out, WIFI was difficult to connect to taking 6 try's and too slow to stream MNF, pillows are the size of throw pillows, questionable neighborhood. On the good side the check out girl was very nice and quick

Decent Hotel Except Safety ViolationPosted Jul 31, 2015
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was what you would expect for the price. Close to public transportation. Safe neighborhood. Pool hours are terrible. Open from 2pm to 8pm, however this is because of laws in the county. They must have a lifeguard on duty during pool hours. I have also posted a picture of what I would consider a huge safety violation. The outlet in room 282 was completely broken, which had the TV and refrigerator plugged into it. I was worried about a potential fire caused by the outlet.

AwfulPosted Jul 25, 2015
Bad location, room was big but had a awkward smell to it. Also, I called the number listed on expedia's website to see if I was able to book it (20 yr old) and they said I was fine. When I checked in the woman working the front desk told me that I could not check in since I was not 21. However, she decided to let me stay since i was only staying for 1 night.

No frills, clean and comfortablePosted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: The price.
Cons: Quieter air conditioner.
Location: Several restaurants and other amenities. Very nice park within 5 to 10 minutes.
Arrived to see current complaining about room quality. Once this guest left, staff took extra care to show me the room I would be staying in prior to check in. They wanted to allay any concerns I may have had. Beds were comfortable, AC was a little noisy, bathroom was clean and hot water plentiful. Breakfast was standard fare with bagels, fruit, cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, milk, etc. Attendant was very attentive, keeping everything clean and refreshed. Overall, a pleasant experience. Good value for the price

Funky roomPosted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: It is conveniently located close to shops, downtown center, hospital and a variety of good places to eat. Great location.
Cons: Get new /lightly used chairs for the lobby to be able to sit and wait for cab service. Had to stand outside to wait for my cab b/c the chairs had whol
Location: See above.
Recently stayed on 7/1, disappointed experience. Upon entrance to the room it hit you with the smelliest smell, both me and my partner felt itchy while sleeping on the bed at night, didn't see any creepy critters but certainly felt like the bed had some. Nonetheless the sheets were white as snow and room and bathroom fairly clean. The front desk staff were polite, and professional/ The cleaning staff however were not accommodating, could not provide any cleaning supplies; extra sheets or vacuum and freshen up the rug when asked.

Worst ever experience at Quality Inn, Takoma ParkPosted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
I had worst ever experience. I booked this hoted for two nights for the 4th july long weekend. First thing the receptionist man gave us the keys of wrong room which was already occupied and he did not even say sorry for the mistake. Nobody showed us our room. The hallways were filled with cigarette smoke and liquor smell. No room service. I had booked it for two nights and i checked out after staying just one night. I was with my mother and my brother and had such an embarrasing experience. If you did not find nay hotel in DC area then i will suggest you to stay in your car but dont check in this hotel, OR if you like to experience the worst experience then check in this hotel, rate is $90/night.

Not great but cheapPosted Jul 7, 2015
Never changed towels, towels given had hair and stains. Tiny Roach was on my pillow while sleeping. Room reeked of cigarettes even though non-smoking room. staff looked miserable! And we're very rude and unprofessional. When asked for towels he said to wait for him to finish his cigarette and then after ten minutes said they ran out. Pack of cigarettes were found in the room (not ours). Pillows are half-sized square.

Well our room didn't have a drain plug so we couldn't take a bat which seems trivial but we have a small child who can't shower and it's the one thing my husband and I enjoy when staying at hotels seeing as we both grew up with showers only. We asked the front desk for one and they were supposed to send one to us and said the maids hadn't cleaned the room that's why it was missed yet the room had just been cleaned supposedly according to the check in lady. We waited an hour and didn't hear anything so we went to the pool. We came back and called the front desk again and we're told the maitnance guy came but we were gone. So they had to call their manager and get back to us. Never heard from them again about it. We only stayed one day but between the drain plug and lies we wouldn't ever stay there again.
