Dirty hotel

Creepy and dirty

Creepy room...more like a motel instead of a hotel...don't be fooled by the picture of the lobby...it was the only nice thing about this place. The HVAC is completely outdated as well as the rooms and the bathroom. The water never gets hot in the sink and the bathtub/shower looks like it's from the 1950's. The room isn't even connected to the hotel..all ground floor rooms like a motel...this place is more like a truck stop instead of a nice hotel. I was creeped out by the room itself and then at 3:15 am I used the bathroom and there was a large bug crawling on the floor...I was so freaked out I woke up my husband and we drove home on New Years Eve at 3:30 in the morning!

Heat in room was not turned on. Not enough towel

The front desk staff was rude at check in and charged my credit card for both rooms eventhough one was to be charged to another card. Also argumentive. Eating lunch while at front desk.

No elevator, lots of steps

Location: Great location for me. Old part of town
Nice for a 1-2 night stay. Handicapped room, bathtub impossible to get into

We have shower/tub transfer benches available...my apologies if that was not offered to you, we have addressed that issue with our staff. As we are only two stories we don't have an elevator but always accommodate our guests needing 1st floor accommodations. Your accessible room was on the first floor where there are no steps required to enter from the outside of the hotel, nor are there steps to enter any other public area of the hotel, so the stairs would not have been an issue. The staff was wonderful. The room was clean and updated. They also have a lounge/restaurant that was very enjoyable, and the continental breakfast was impressive. We will stay there again.

Ok for the price

The price should have been a little lower, but the hotel was ok. I did not know the dining room was closed on Sunday, so I had to call someplace for delivery. The man at the desk gave me some menus for places I could call. I am glad the motel had ample parking for trailers.
