Greater newer hotel in BallstonPosted Sep 29, 2015
Great hotel in the middle of Ballston. Very close to the Ballston metro. Easy drive to DC. Many restaurants, a grocery store and shopping nearby. Vibrant and safe area. Hotel staff was pleasant, parking was a breeze and room was huge and immaculate. Breakfast was great and had many hot options and also healthy options including fresh fruit and even the more expensive Chobani Greek yogurt. Highly recommend.

WonderfulPosted Aug 18, 2015
Close to a mall with multiple dining options. Within walking distance to the metro subway. Spacious room. Pool was nice but limited hours due to having a lifeguard on duty everyday which is a bonus.

Wonderful Family VacationPosted Aug 6, 2015
We recently took a week long family vacation to Washington DC. Staying at the Residence Inn Ballston was perfect! The Hotel is very modern and stylish, the suite was perfect for our family of four, plus our little dog- very comfortable for all of us. The Free breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel- we looked forward to it every day! The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the surrounding area near the Hotel had great restaurants, and was an easy walk to the Metro to DC. I highly recommend the Residence Inn Ballston to anyone traveling to the DC area.

Fantastic, clean ,perfect location, amazing breakfaPosted Jul 20, 2015
Staff was great , room and common areas super clean and nice, the complementary breakfast is better than any buffet you would pay a lot for. The location is perfect easy to many areas, restaurants close as well if you have children a nice park is across the street. The hotel is sucure the parking garage and elevators require a swipe card to access areas in the hotel and for elevator to leave the parking area we definitely will be staying here again:)

Definitely recommended!Posted Jun 23, 2015 on Hotels
We came to the residence in for a weekend getaway. The hotel and proximity to restaurants was excellent. However, we did have some trouble locating the metro the first day. We blame upside down maps for that though.

Clean, Simple, and ElegantPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, friendly and courteous staff
Nice, clean little hotel right in the heart of Ballston, within walking distance of many eateries. Parking on site. Not many amenities, but everything you need is a block away. There's a tiny shopette in the lobby for drinks, snacks, and toiletries.

Choose to stay here if in Arlington, VA/DC areaPosted Jun 17, 2015 on Hotels
Enjoyed our stay, kids loved indoor pool and lifeguard Aaron was great with the kids and kept the area safe. Front desk staff were outstanding. Breakfast was ok, like most hotels. Only bummer was housekeeping didn't come until 4 p.m. rather than while we were out all day. This hotel is close to great eating spots, mall, stores and about a 15 minute walk from the Ballston metro stop and we always felt safe. Our grandson called it a "mansion hotel" because the rooms were so large. Expect to pay $15 per/day for parking, but it was easy to get in and out of the garage.
