Lovely hotel, can't fault it

My suite was absolutely lovely, I would happily live in it! Comfy bed, super clean, all the amenities you could want. The breakfast buffet was a highlight- I definitely miss having a mountain of scrambled eggs on toast every morning now. Cooked and cold options all fresh. The staff (apart from one scary lady in the kitchen) were all soso friendly and willing to help... I was staying alone, but never felt it as they were so chatty. Housekeeping service was great, I only used it once in my week stay as they do such a thorough job. The decor is a little dated- it's no chic stylish place you'd go for a romantic getaway, but it's all perfectly clean and well kept, so that didn't bother me at all. It's a minute walk to the nearest metro station, and about seven minutes to all the Smithsonian museums... but is out of the busy hubbub of the centre of DC. The area was clean, well lit, and I felt safe at all times despite being a lone young female.
Couldn't recommend this place highly enough! :) wish I was still there....
