3 blocks from the white house. Subway is in the corner. Restaurant is horrible. They took forever to bring drinks. Food was mediocre and expensive. Walls are very thin, you hear everything.

Trudy, the front desk wasn’t having it that day. Bathroom sink in the room has mold on sides. Pool is filthy. Water tasted salty and looked murky. Really disgusting. Two stars for the scent of the hotel when you walk in and the great bartenders at the bar.

Ms. Trudy and Mr. Keith were awesome and helpful. I appreciated Ms. Trudy lettin me know being a Bonvoy member allowed me to have free WiFi as I was unsure if it counted when booking through Expedia. This was the best hotel for the price, especially on Easter weekend!

Honestly I would rate this hotel higher however it was not disclosed until AFTER we booked that the hotel was under going renovations. I am not sure until how long the hotel will be renovating however their main restaurant is not open, and did not have an updated menu when we tried to order from our room. I would have picked another hotel (like the JW) had it had been disclosed to me prior to booking, I feel scammed for the price I paid

Convenient to walking around DC. The housekeeping staff was very loud very early. The restaurant is not currently open; there is a small room in which you can order food/drinks. We used the valet for parking; did not have help with our bags. Room was very comfortable and clean.

As is the norm at a Marriott property, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the facility was super clean and very comfortable. I've travelled a great deal for works and having stayed at Marriott properties hundreds of times, I'd say the Metro Marriott is a great example of the company's high standards

Great DC Family Trip!
Overall, very nice experience. Check-in was smooth and quick. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Valet was exceptional! Rooms are good size, clean, and comfortable. Great location!! We walked to all museums and monuments. Will definitely stay here again.

I have never been charged to check-in early to a hotel or asked to join a hotel subscription list in order to get free internet (or otherwise pay for it). So, I didn't like my check-in experience. Everyone seem to be having issues with the elevator reading their access cards, lots of people going on unnecessary elevator rides because of that. Other than that it was fine.
