Good location

Lobby, hallways and elevator was extremely hot Bathroom fixtures for shower were backwards and hard to move. Shower temperature kept changing from very hot to very cold

The employees made it my best hotel stay ever !!! Great price. Close to a subway stop.

Despite they try to update the hotel, it is still looking old. However, it is good for DC area. The air conditioning unit was not working and the staff changed the room, however, the AC in the second room was not working properly too.

Clean, good price, lots of parking, superior break

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Value was good. Proximity to D.C. Great. Parking spacious, elevator really small, 4.5 out of 5 for me

Needs work

Hotel was hard to find even with gps. Back entrance and front have poor signage. Hotel looks new pn outside but inside it is confined and cramped. Elevator jolds 3 people max and with luggage it would be tight. Room was attractive at first. Old entry doors with 15 coats of paint made entry difficult. Updated bath but doors and light switch again, need updates. Comfortable bed, although noise from guest's in hallway amplified throughout the room. Hotel also charges an 80 dollar smoking deposit refundable after they verify you did not smokw in your room. This would have been good to know before i booked. Overall i would not stay here again but its not the worst hotel either.

We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations better you did not enjoy your stay. Horrible place

No pool smelly room not hot water for 3 hours it was a nightmare

We have a seasonal outdoor pool that is being prepped now for opening Memorial Day Weekend. We are very sorry for the unfortunate maintenance issues that caused us to temporarily loose our hot water for a few hours. Management worked quickly as we could to repair this and had the water back on for all guests. This was a isolated incident that was quickly repaired and apologize once again for the minor inconvenience it caused our valued guests.

Biggest embarrassment ever!

I was looking for a nice hotel outside of DC and got a repainted Howard W. Johnson with filthy carpet, ripped bed sheets, dirty bathrooms and terrible staff...

Hotel close to Washington DC on a budget

Charles was there to greet us when we arrived and he was so pleasant and professional. We checked in late and I saw him again in the morning. He was very helpful and kind. Even when I called a few times asking questions before arriving, I was always greeted by someone eager to help. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Washington, DC and about 40 minutes with traffic. The rooms are very nice. The lobby and hallways not so much. No hairdryer in my room. Besides that, everything was great. There is free continental breakfast, fred parking, free wifi and a free shuttle to the metro station. I just drove to Washington. Overall a great experience and I would recommend.
