Location, Location, Location.Posted Sep 15, 2017
Pros: It's the second time in two years that we stayed here. This was our fifth trip to Alaska in five years.
Cons: Not much, It's the airlines that need to improve.
Location: Let your fingers do the exploring prior to arrival. Know what you want to do. Alaska is an outdoor adventure.
Easy to find, quiet road after the days business. Close to places like best buy, Walmart to get those thing you forgot or didn't want to bring. Close to chain restaurants, and private ones. Pretty short drive to Anchorage, and other points.

Extreme road noisePosted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: Room was very nice and clean.
Cons: Some sort of sound proofing over the windows especially around the window air conditioner unit.
Location: Located three miles out of town with NOTHING around it. NOTHING.
Little or no sleep due to road noise. There isn't an office to check in. The lady cleaning a room stopped what she was doing and checked us in. All doors are locked in the evening. I don't know what a late arrival would do to get checked into their room.

nice sized suite with cooking facilitiesPosted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: size of room, cooking facilities, shower/tub combo, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: A few more cooking utensils would have been nice. Short on cutlery but we made due - not that big of a problem.
Location: Good central location. Took in State Fair in Palmer a short drive away. We basically made day trips to sites in the surrounding area.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice sized suite with cooking facilities. Room was clean and comfortable. Our suite was facing a busy road so at times was quite noisy when the window was open. Even so we would not hesitate to stay there again.

My grandson and I stayed over night. It was nice to have a kitchen and some space with a six year old. Very, very clean.

Nice hotel with nice environment.Posted Aug 19, 2017
Room is equipped with kitchen, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and very clean. Staff is nice. The only issue is some noise from the refrigerator. Other than that I would give 5 stars.

A very clean hotel, comfortable, but noisy.Posted Aug 8, 2017
Overall, we enjoyed our stay Alaska's Select Inn at Wasilla, but the noise from the freeway was a little too much. It is very near a fire station, so emergency vehicle sound during the night is something to consider. The location was good and allowed easy access to major routes for any journey. It is only ten minutes from restaurants and stores in town. Grounds are well groomed and the staff interaction, although very minimal, was pleasant and informative.

Beautiful and clean!Posted Aug 3, 2017
Pros: It is clean!!
The Inn is one of the cleanest Inns we have ever stayed in. I have cleaned motels and condos almost 30 years and this ranks with my scale as clean!! The staff is friendly and helpful. It is close to town and easy to get to. The kitchen is great with full size refrigerator an stove. I highly recommend this Inn....

Clean with kitchenttePosted Jul 31, 2017
The motel was clean and comfortable, it had a small kitchenette in room and shared laundry facilities. Beds were comfortable everything was good except location, it is far from stores and restaurants. Plus it is next to a noisy road, get on the side away from the hiway!!
Excellent, clean rooms, good wifi and parkingPosted Jul 20, 2017 on Hotels
Check in closes by 12 - if you are checking after that, call up ahead. The receptionist Mac, was courteous enough to accommodate our special requests. Room is great and clean - with a nice kitchenette. wifi was good. Parking was right outside property and its secured by a code. We felt bad that we couldn't spend more than a few hours and enjoy the facilities as we checked in late and checked out early. Recommended as a transit point for anchorage or talkeetna. Negatives were - 1. lack of headboard, so pillow kept falling off. 2. street noise of vehicles 3. bit cramped due to kitchenette and 2 beds.

Night in WasillaPosted Jul 17, 2017 on Hotels
We stayed here on a trip across Alaska. Room was quiet and comfortable. Guest laundry room was greatly appreciated. Very friendly staff. No food immediately near but just a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.
