Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
Arrived at Logan International Airport. Took the local transit/train to the Aquarium stop which is next to the entrance of the hotel (Total cost $5.50 pp). A number of sights and restaurants are in easy walking distance from the hotels as well as ferry connections and waterfront tours. Boston is a great city and Bostonians are very friendly.

This hotel is in a very good location.. Close to the aquarium and the harbour.. The rooms are clean with good service.. The staff are friendly.. The hotel however is very expensive for the services offered...apart from the location, nothing special.. For example, the room internet is not free.. They ask for 12 USD as a daily rate for the internet service in the room...

It was a great hotel but considering how much you pay per night, the room was small. I had a great time and staff was amazing. Next time I come to Boston, I'm coming here.

Pros: Hotel staff were pleasant and housekeeping was very nice
Cons: Ventilation issues.
Location: Good location, but the downtown Boston area is small so you can stay anywhere and get from A to B very quickly.
The windows do not open - understandable from a liability perspective, however the building was designed to have windows that open - the windows are now permanently locked. The bathroom vent is the only ventilation and it was filthy and blocked with dirt and dust. Resulting from the lack of ventilation when the shower was used there was almost immediately dangerous black mould created - this is a class action lawsuit with no defence other than arguing about quantum of damages. This is entirely at odds with the representations of the Marriott. This hotel chain has set themselves up for an enormous punitive damage claim based on the underlying facts and the financial size of the tortfeasor. Very outrageous to have a major chain hotel have this type of problem. Staff are very good, very professional. Hotel needs to engage a ventilation engineer at once. Problem was documented with photographs.

This is a very nice hotel in excellent shape with great amenities and staff. My biggest problem was the noise in the room. It sounded like everyone in the hallways was in our room. It was difficult to sleep.
