Days Inn was comfortable

Pros: Comfort and cleanliness, helpful staff, delicious breakfast choices.
Cons: Remodeling, elevator
Location: I was there to attend my granddaughter's college graduation, not to do anything touristy
Days Inn in Cedar Falls is an older facility, and it is apparent at check in. However, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room spotlessly clean. I had WiFi and an outstanding, free breakfast included with the stay. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend this place to anyone not looking for a resort-type feel but just a pleasant night's stay at a well-managed place.

Not happy with comfort of the room

Bed comforter very thin and nothing comfortable about it. Bed pillows were small squares. Not comfortable and the shower wasn't even close to hot.

Poor customer service

It was horrible, the computer had a glitch in it and charged my card twice and I wasn't compensated, I also had to wait over a hour and they still didn't figure out what happened until afterwards, knowing that I had a flight to catch.

Dear Shanisha, I want to apologize for the error that occurred during your stay with us, but as we tried to explain the one charge was an authorization hold on your card and not an actual charge. In an effort to satisfy you we did reverse one of your nights stays prior to you leaving for your flight. I am not sure what more you would like me to do. Nice enough for the price.

Working temporarily in Cedar Falls. Spent the week in DaysInn. Quiet and clean. Nothing fancy but met my needs. Price was acceptable. Quarters were acceptable. All I needed for the short stay.

Weekend couple getaway was HOT !!

It is what it is. The cheapest hotel in the area by 50%. The staff are grouchy, it isn't very clean, but it's economical.
