Our trip was a few nights to explore the town in preparation for our move in June. I stayed here with my husband, but i would have felt fine even staying alone. Area was safe, well-lit, nothing felt out of place.
The hotel was clean - I didnt feel like I should expect to see roaches and it didnt feel icky. Property overall is dated, certainly, and there are areas that need some repair - i kept stepping on a tile in the lobby that was loose. Mattress was a little odd - not soft, not hard, just... odd. Not the worst I've slept on.
Staff was friendly enough, though they did leave one day for an extended period of time and frustrated some people who were looking to stay. No one was at the desk for that period of time.
Breakfast spread was pretty disappointing - a few bagels, some sliced bread, and a few packets of cream cheese; two cereal choices, and a gallon of milk in a countertop cooler. We went to IHOP down the street. The rooms have a good sized mini fridge and a microwave, which was great - we kept snacks and leftovers from our dinners and didnt have to go out much.
All in all, I'd stay here again if I needed to.
