Weekend getaway

This was the perfect base for our long weekend exploring the region. The townhouse is comfortable and convenient, and the property manager was responsive when we had a question. We hope to return next time.

Wonderful

Had a great stay. Condo was spacious, spotless, and right by the water. We were able to walk everywhere- did not use our car at all. Took the wine trolley, hiked Watkins Glenn State Park and kayaked Seneca Lake. The accommodations and area did not disappoint- would definitely return.

Perfect Seneca Lake home base

My fiancé and I and another couple loved our stay here! Perfect location to explore the wineries around Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen falls, and Corning. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake from the property's balcony and being able to walk to restaurants in town.

Beautiful getaway on Seneca Lake

This is our second time at this property and we will definitely return again. The townhouse was impeccably cleaned and had all of the comforts of home. We loved this location so much that we only left for the wine tasting!

Perfect stay, beautiful spot

Spent this weekend here for daughter’s Cornell graduation. Property was as shown in listing and had everything we needed. Beautiful lake views and loved the garage parking. Owner was prompt and helpful with questions. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful lake views

We enjoyed our stay at the Seneca Sunset. Location was perfect, easy access to everything. Morning coffee on the deck was a treat. The accommodations were exactly as described. Note: The stairs can seem a bit steep for anyone with mobility challenges. Will be back for more lake views!!

Clean and comfortable with nice views of the lake

This unit is well located at the base of Seneca Lake in Watkins Glen, close to the park and local restaurants. The two bedrooms are on the second floor with the kitchen and living room on the third floor, all with great views of the lake. The unit was modern, clean and comfortable.

Perfect Location

We stayed in this beautiful condo with my husband, sister and her husband. We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were SUPERIOR. This property is in view of Lake Seneca. They have a firepit along with everything you need for your stay. There are a lot of steps which my in laws were not used to. I cannot wait to go back!!

Lovely Apartment with Wonderful Views

This is a great place for anyone visiting Watkins Glen. It's perfectly located in the center of the town, walking distance to some terrific restaurants (be sure to visit Grafts - best bread in town!) and shops. Also, for the more adventuresome, a 20-minute walk to the famed Glen Gorge, one of the treasures of NY state. We love the Finger Lakes. Finding this townhouse has been great! Super clean, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and an ideal view of the lake. The host is great, as well! Highly recommended!

The best

Stayed here a few times. So conveniently located but tucked away so it’s quiet and safe. Right at the Marina and literally half way between the two sides of Seneca Lake at the end of Main Street Watkins Glen. Very comfortable for 6 friends. Really appreciated the large kitchen and gathering space. Hosts were great. Offered us a free upgrade after someone else cancelled. Plan to be back soon.

Gorgeous townhome and views

We stayed at this townhome for a little summer getaway. The townhouse is gorgeous, spacious, clean and newly renovated. It is fully stocked with everything you need. The views are amazing! You are able to dock your boat out front of the property and there are several adorable areas to sit and relax around a fire in the evening. It is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Anne was easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be renting again soon!

Loved it!!

Super clean and plenty of space for a group of four. Just make sure you can climb steps! It’s a three story townhouse and spacious. Such a beautiful view of Seneca lake and the pier. Loved sitting out on the balcony sipping coffee and knitting in the morning. Kitchen has everything you need. Two a half baths and a washer/dryer. We used the garage to park our car but there’s plenty of parking if your group is meeting up there. Host is super responsive and gave us recommendations for the time we were staying. 5/5 would absolutely recommend.

We spent a great week at the property in Watkins Glen. Everything was exactly as advertised and is in a perfect location to explore the Finger Lakes region. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching all the activities in the harbor, armed with an appropriate beverage of course. The Host, Ann, was delightful and was very available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay at the property again.

Location is perfect! Great views of the lake and marina. Within a short walk to the main marina, and walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and ice cream shops. Watkins Glen is a nice town. The home is spacious and had sleek furnishings. Decor is sparse which contributed to some echoing. There are stairs within the home, just be aware. The master suite is roomy and had a large closet space. The second bedroom does not have storage space. We loved having access to a garage. A note about some of the exterior sounds in other reviewers' posts, there is a horn/whistle that sounds at 7:00 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, and 3:00 pm. We didn't find out the origin but based on the times, seems like it aligns with a work whistle. We encountered the train only twice in the stay and one day was at 1:00 pm and the other day was at 9:00 am, neither time were during sleeping hours. The host communicated everything we would need to know ahead of our stay, is very friendly, and takes great care of the property grounds. We enjoyed our stay and would be interested in this property in future visits.

First visit to Finger Lakes

Marvelous Watkins Glen Apartment

Whenever we visit Watkins Glen, we always stay at this marvelous apartment. The location is perfect - a few minutes' walk to all the town's attractions, restaurants, shops and the magnificent gorge. The owners, Ann & Dan, are so easy to contact and, having met them in person on occasion, they are lovely people. If you are staying in Watkins Glen, this is the place to stay!

Last minute get away!!

We have stayed at this location multiple times to date. It is in a great location (easily walk about town), the owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions and/or issues (of which there were none).
