They have tractor trailer parking and that's a plus for us! They don’t serve breakfast so that’s the only downside

Thanks for staying with us. I'm sorry that you did not realize that the non-refundable, non-cancelable reservations do not have the flexibility to leave early and get refunded. Whenever you need that flexibility, it's best to book a cancelable reservation, which is usually a few dollars more. Thanks for staying with us!

Everything was nice! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that there is no turn down service since covid. But they will give you fresh sheets and towels upon request! Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area

Does not provide breakfast. Front desk laughed when I asked about it. No pool on property what so ever. I left my prescription glasses and came back for them 30min later and they said they weren’t there. Creepy men circling the parking lot.

Thank you for staying with us. I'm sorry that you lost your glasses, but I've spoken to the housekeeping team and they confirmed to me that the glasses were not left in your room. I've entered your information into our lost and found system, so if they show up elsewhere on property, we can match them to your report. We do not offer a breakfast or a swimming pool. The amenities that we provide are listed on all booking sites that take reservations for our hotel.Regarding creepy men circling our parking lot, I hope you alerted the front desk. Nothing like that would be tolerated, and I'd love to hear the description of the incident if you would care to contact me. I'd really like to know what you saw.

Our room was perfect for anyone wanting to stay somewhere that feels more like home than a hotel room. Our son is in the navy and we visit from time to time and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for my husbands navy graduation. I was skeptical of some bad reviews but I got here and was immediately relieved. Check in went smoothly room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only like 4 minutes from the nex and like 10-14 mins from his graduation. This hotel is around a whole bunch of activities and food didn’t even have to go downtown to spend time with my sailor because there is so much to do around here. I overall enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Chicago again. Location is very convenient I would recommend staying here!

I'm very sorry that you did not realize that Sonesta Simply Suites hotels are extended stay hotels. This means that a number of our guests are staying for weeks or even months. That's why each room has a kitchen. If we could keep cooking smells from the hallways, we would. Hope your stay was good otherwise!

Rowdy neighbors, but good service
My stay was good overall. The only complaint I have, which I know that the hotel itself doesn't have much control over, was my rowdy neighbors one evening. It sounded like people were arguing and fighting. There was lots of screaming and profanity. I was traveling alone as a young female, visiting my partner who is in the Navy and had liberty leave for the weekend, so I was a little nervous being on my own. However, I think the staff did everything in their power to de-escalate whatever was going on in my neighbor's room. I don't know what they did, but I made the complaint at the front desk on my way out, and by the time I got back maybe 20 minutes later my neighbors had quieted down a little.

Great and clean hotel. The lack of hot water was less than thrilling during the cold season. The hot water would come in and out.
