Old hotel but great staffPosted Feb 4, 2016
Pros: The staff
Cons: Really needs a total remodel
Location: Best restaurant we went to was called the Backyard Steak Pit. Staff recommended it and it was great.
I chose this hotel for the location primarily, it was fairly close to the Navy base where our son was graduating from boot camp. I picked this particular place because of the Ramada name, I thought that insured a reasonable level of quality. I can now say I've never seen a Ramada this old and run down before. However, the staff was great and the place was as clean as they could make it considering its age. We got great recommendations for local restaurants and they helped us with some of the logistics of attending our sons graduation. They were polite and welcoming in every way. So overall, if you just need a place to sleep, it was alright. The beds were comfortable although the pillows were a bit lumpy. It was quiet even though it's on a busy street except for the final night we stayed, that night we had some pretty noisy neighbors.

Nice Hotel close to the Naval Training CenterPosted Jan 29, 2016
The staff was friendly and very helpful. The stay was comfortable and the transfer to the Naval Academy was on-time although the weather wasnt very cooperative.

Good for the moneyPosted Jan 21, 2016
Cons: Heating throughout the building, eating utensils available throughout the day and not just breakfast
Heating the building for efficiency makes the hallways and pool area cold. Pool was actually closed one day of our stay due to weather and it is an INDOOR pool.

Affordable hotelPosted Jan 17, 2016
Cons: Breakfast can be more fresh
The breakfast section is disappointing. If you are booking this hotel because of breakfast advantage, I would rather get another hotel. It is very stale. The room and the overall experience is good.

Nice hotelPosted Jan 14, 2016
Very friendly staff , we had a great experience. The continental breakfast they offer could offer a little more variety. Other than that it's still a great clean place and they're close to the navy base and offer free shuttle to boot camp graduation!

DisappointingPosted Jan 13, 2016
Pros: not really anything
Cons: see above
Location: middle of no where. Mile drive to a resteraunt
Hotel is not really near any of the services associated with a stay. The room is basic. In my room: No Hair Dryer, No toilet paper holder ( one role unopened under counter), Shower/bathtub was plugged, no hangers, crappy TV selection, one lamp did not work, power outlets did not all work, phone did not work. Will not ever stay there or a Ramada again.
