“Property was dated and dirty. Breakfast consisted of store bought muffins and waffles and sugar coated cereal. Stayed there because it had a 4.7 rating on Expedia and was the best priced in the area. On a good note the pool area was nice and the room ac worked great.”

“The staff was exceptional and the rooms were large. My only issue was with Expedia unfortunately. I booked through their app and one of the pictures shows a grill and says "grill/picnic area". We brought along nice steaks to throw on the grill in celebration of our anniversary. However, the grill was not for public use! Very misleading. The hotel staff tried to make it right by upgrading our room to one with a kitchen, but we turned it down. Our room was fine, just disappointed. Pool area……

“Very cute and comfortable property. The outside space was relaxing and inside felt like home. The husband and wife team were accommodating and personable. They also whipped up exceptional coffee and breakfast. Would definitely stay again!”

“I returned to the room around 8:30 pm after prepping for an early meeting the next day, to find that the air conditioner in my room sounding like a semi-truck rattling on a bumpy highway. I went to the front desk, and someone came to look at it but was unable to fix it. I received a call in my room after 10pm to let me know that they can provide with another room at another hotel which was 2 miles in the opposite direction I need to be going in the morning. I stayed at this hotel a couple……

“Lets see ...garden tractor and bbq grill sitting right next to the lobby entrance...rain gutter on the lobby canopy falling off...side entry door only locked if you pulled it shut....trash and cigarettes on the ground by that door...all out screaming fist fight in hallway outside our room at around 10pm went on for about 10 minutes before the cops showed up.....room was ok ....so was staff...Iola car show room prices..about $200 per nite stayed 2 nites....wont be back.....”
