"Very nice stay!"

"Commode was stopped up on arrival and the heat had not been turned on since last winter. When we did turn on the heat, the smoke and smell was awful and immediately set the smoke alarm off. Staff was helpful bringing a plunger for the commode and helped to clear the smoke out of our room. Good stay followed. Breakfast was great !"

"Beverly had provided everything we needed to make our time in Laurel memorable. She gave us lots of information about things to do and places to see, and this was topped off with a beautiful home away from home. The property was as picturesque as the listing; clean and fresh, and we especially appreciated the hand written welcome sign. The property had a relaxing deck area out back and we were blessed with being able to sit in the sunshine. Beverly also made us some cookies and we got to meet her and Don before continuing our road trip. Our time in Laurel will be one we talk about for years to come. "

"We stayed at the Mason cottage for two weekday nights to explore all the HGTV Home Town sites. The cottage was clean, and everything was as promised. Check-in was seamless with no issues. Smart TV (Roku) was easy to use. Distance-wise, it was no problem to walk to the historic downtown. That said, in the immediate area there are some streets without sidewalks or painted crosswalks, so be cautious.Like most Vrbo rentals, it’s best to bring your own body wash and shampoo. The thing I liked best about this property is there was no lengthy to-do list at checkout. We were not asked to take out the trash, strip the bed, wash the dishes, etc.- just toss used towels in the tub, lock the door, and head out. We enjoyed our stay very much! "
