Beautiful B & B with all the extras

Posted Nov 25, 2017
Pros: The facilities, the food, the friendly innkeepers, the surrounding area.
Cons: The noisy neighbors.
Location: Mountains, hiking, neat shopping, good places to eat, almost any outdoor activity you might want.
These two inn keepers have thought of all the extras: wonderful breakfasts, great snacks, fireplaces and frigs in every room. No shared baths. They are friendly and watch for any need one might have. We will definitely go back. A plus is so much to do in the area.

Just what a B and B is supposed to be!

Posted Jul 31, 2017 on Hotels
This is exactly what a Bed and Breakfast is supposed to be like! Incredibly helpful and friendly inn keepers and beautifully maintained Inn. Rooms are extremely spacious and the private bathroom was a nice size also. Very comfortable bed and sitting area. The many sitting areas for guests to enjoy are clean, nicely decorated and several offer privacy away from other guests. The inn keepers take meticulous care to keep the outdoor seating and porch areas painted well, cushions clean, railings nice, and plantings pruned. Breakfast was so very nice and you could tell by listening to other guests talk with each other that everyone was at ease and enjoying themselves. The freshly baked brownies and sodas were a nice addition! Thank you Andrea and George for doing such a great job and giving us a great memory in Waynesville!

Thank you for the wonderful and comprehensive review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay here at the Andon-Reid Inn so much. We work hard on our housekeeping and maintenance so it is very reassuring to have our work appreciated. We are proud to have created great memories for you and hope you can come back to the Inn soon and create some new ones.

End of Vacation Stay

Posted Jul 29, 2017 on Hotels
We loved this B&B. Our grand library room was awesome with a jetted tub and soft bed that you did not want to get up out of. The breakfast each morning was yummy as were the afternoon treats. The owners were super friendly and helpful to accommodate all your request. We will defiantly stay there again. Also loved the town of Waynesville with the cute shops and you must eat at the Sweet Onion. Ignore the picture in the post, can't get it off.

Beth & Jeff - It was a pleasure to have you visit. We're glad you enjoyed the comfort of the Library Suite as it is our most historic - although I don't think the architects and builders in 1902 were concerned over where to put the Jacuzzi tub. We would love to have you visit again.

I had a wonderful stay at Andon-Reid. This was my first experience of staying at a bed and breakfast and I loved it. The Innkeepers are wonderful and my room was perfect. It is quiet and peaceful and I will certainly stay there again when I am in town.

George and Andrea are great! Wonderful to have a bathroom as good as home. I swear it must have been elves that ate all those very delicious macaroons!

Thank you for the great review Patrick. We are glad you enjoyed your stay here and that the bathroom met with your approval. We will speak sternly with the elves and make sure you get your fair share of macaroons (or whatever our afternoon baked treat is) next time you stay.

Perfectly situated escape from reality!

Posted Dec 21, 2016
My wife and I were looking for a quick escape in the mountains, but all the while being close to Asheville. Staying at the Andon-Reid B&B was the best decision of our trip. Andrea and George, the B&B owners are very hands on to make sure your stay is beyond a 5-star experience. They were super friendly and personable, which made our stay even better than expected. The property was spotless, the rooms were extremely clean, well decorated to match the epoch and well organized/functional. The general area was very cozy with a fireplace and beautiful view of the mountains. Access in/out was simple, yet very safe and we were within walking distance of some great restaurants in Waynesville. The location of this B&B is superb because you can easily drive to Asheville for dinner or to discover, or you can drive West into the mountains for some great hikes.

Elegantly comfortable Bed and Breakfast

Posted Nov 29, 2016
Pros: We liked absolutely EVERYTHING about this B & B! The innkeepers were especially welcoming and it was obvious that they love what they do.
Location: Close to delightful downtown Waynesville and easy to find. Hiking, rafting, Biltmore House, Great Smoky Mountain RR, Blue Ridge Parkway nearby.
Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Wonderful gracious hospitality on the part of the innkeepers, who thought of everything: maps of the area with restaurants and events on that particular day; amazing homemade breakfasts, homemade afternoon sweet treats, wine glasses and His/her bathrobes and slippers in the bedroom. This B & B has game room downstairs complete with pool table, darts, shuffle board, games and puzzles. Could not have found a better B & B. Conveniently located close to downtown.

Gorgeous Inn, exquisite hosts and fine dining

Posted Nov 1, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: The Grand Library was a beautiful two room suite, two gas fireplaces (that present as if they were wood burning), huge and luxurious garden tub, walk-in shower, king size bed with amazing bedding and linens, quiet, exceptionally appointed, every amenity you could wish for. The dining areas are beautiful with breathtaking mountain views. Ashley spoiled us with the finest breakfasts, as did George with his "10 fruit parfaits". The downstairs playroom is extraordinary with pool table, shuffleboard, dart board, numerous game boards, plenty of seating and a bar for relaxing in the evenings after a day in the mountains. Parking is easy, the home is beautiful and the location can't be more convenient to all the amenities Waynesville and the surrounding area bring. Andrea and George are warm and attentive hosts and the nicest we have experienced anywhere in the US. Ashley and Amber make the experience delicious and "just like home".
Cons: We loved everything about the Inn and the staff. No improvements necessary.
Location: Waynesville is a beautiful year-round mountain town with numerous excellent restaurants, shops and scenic places to sit and relax.
