I got lost looking for the hotel but thankful that a lady from the next town helped me and drove me safely to the hotel. When i arrived, the personnel tried to accomodate me despite the language barrier. The receptionist was also nice and accomodating, as well as the old lady who served the breakfast the next morning. They were all good people. The town where the hotel is located is quiet and there is not much to do there. But if one wants some peace and quiet, this hotel would be the right place.

Relaxation day
After a busy time working at the Frankfurt Messe it was good to have a restful & relaxing stay here at Hotel Linde. It is in a beautiful quite village, with lots of different grade walks & cycle tracks. We ate in the restaurant, which was both tasteful and well presented.

A great breakfast, basic hotel
The ratings seemed a bit high for this hotel. It was an older hotel, but it was clean. It was hard to check in, because it wasn't clear where you needed to check in. If you go in the main door, you check in at the restaurant desk, and to check out and pay for your room at breakfast. It is also not suitable if you would have any physical limitations for climbing steps. No one spoke English, but if you know a little bit of German you can manage. This is the only place in this town to eat, so plan to drive elsewhere for a restaurant or grocery. May be our difficulty managing this hotel was because there was a wedding reception going on. Not sure?? The area is nice if you like to explore the countryside - a lot of places to park and hike.

This place was super cute. So clean! The room was a good size and the bathroom even bigger. Huge tub allowed me to take a bath and rest my tired, sore feet/muscles from so much walking. Breakfast was awesome. A little German grandmother cooks the food and sets it out. Best breakfast I had my entire Europe trip. The price was a great deal for how comfortable we were and the area is very pretty. Only downside it is quite a drive back into Frankfurt and quite a bit of traffic forms so leave very early if you have to catch a train or plane. I would recommend it. Very nice if you have the time it is cool to explore.

not quite near the motorway but worth the trip!
We were picking up people at Frankfurt airport and after a long drive from Calais, the last trip over the hill/mountain from the motorway was a bit longer than it looked on the map! That having said the hotel has an excellent restaurant and was in great condition throughout.

Great food and hospitality! The bed was a little small but the price was right and the service amazing. It's a bit out of the way and there's not much going on around there but beautiful drive through the hills to get there and I enjoyed my stay.

If you have a car and like nature and silence
About 50km from Frankfurt air port or city center High speed highways and very very nice jungle road(20km) to the hotel. villange nice, clean and quite, after 10pm nobody in hotel for service, but every things fine. Very clean, nice peoples working there, and if you like nature and German culture, you will 100% enjoy it. Oh, restaurant is the best i saw ever, very good steak and other things are realy amazing. You will enjoy it.

Ruhige Übernachtung mit tollem Früstück und Essen
Das Zimmer lag sehr schön mit Blick auf eine Wiese und außergewöhnlich ruhig. Die Ausstattung von Zimmer und Bad waren entsprachen in vollem Umfang dem, was man in einem guten Landgasthof erwartet: Ausreichende Größe, sauber und gute Betten! Hervorzuheben sind das sehr gute Frühstück und die Qualität und die Auswahl in der dazugehörigen Gaststätte. Enifach Klasse!

Sehr schönes Hotel .
Sehr schönes Hotel für ruhesuchende Gäste welche nicht auf ihr Handy angewiesen sind.Leider gibt es für Vodafone und 1&1 Kunden keinerlei Handyempfang.Kann das Hotel nichts dafür,aber für Geschäftsleute kann es schon einmal um Aufträge gehen. Ansonsten absolut emphelenswert.Sehr gutes Frühstück,gutes W-Lan,ruhige Lage,gute Küche,freundliches Personal,sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten.

Hotelausstattung bescheiden. TV sehr klein und nur 2 Programme zu empfangen. WLAN vorhanden, aber trotzdem kein Netz auf dem Handy. Restaurant und Frühstück gut.

Sauberes, anständiges Zimmer. Der Fernseher könnte etwas größer sein, aber das ist wirklich eine Kleinigkeit. Sehr positiv für mich war das überraschend schneller Internet, was für mich beruflich sehr wichtig ist.

Fantastisk hotel med service i top
Et fantastisk hotel med service helt i top - store værelser, behagelig seng, mad i top og til små priser. Hele vores ophold var i top klasse til en meget lav pris. Service helt i top - vi skulle meget tidligt afsted lørdag morgen og spurgte om hvor tidligt der blev serveret morgenmad - "Hvornår ønsker I?" var svaret. Bestemt et hotel vi varmt kan anbefale og gerne vil besøge igen!

Oppassen met late arrival
Rustig en goed onderhouden "Gasthof". Typische Duitse "Gasthof" ontbijtkamer met lekker ontbijt. Opgepast als je 's maandags na 22.30 uur aankomt. Alles was er gesloten, geen reactie op de deurbel, telefoon werd niet opgenomen (voicemail). Het heeft 45 minuten geduurd voor er iemand van het personeel opendeed na met de autosleutel herhaaldelijk op de glazen toegangsdeur te hebben getikt. Naderhand zeiden ze dat ze me een email hadden gestuurd met instructies om in te checken, maar ik heb die nooit ontvangen.

Kom extremt sent till hotellet men personalen fixade åtkomst till nyckel ändå. Rent fint rum, skön säng och bra frukost i fantastiska omgivningar. Vad mer kan man önska.

husk kontanter de modtager ikke visa
dejligt hotel og rigtig god restaurant. Ligger meget centralt i smukke omgivelser. Men man kan ikke betale med visa, selv om man bukker med sit visa. Det forsinkede min afrejse med en time, da jeg måtte tilbage til flensborg for at hæve kontanter. Ikke ok kommer ikke igen

Weiltal - prima Aufenthalt
Nach unseren tollen Wanderungen durch das wunderschöne Weiltal, war der Aufenthalt im Hotel Linde gerade richtig. Schöne Zimmer und eine große Auswahl an Essen, das auch gut geschmeckt hat. Das Frühstücksbüffet bietet ebenfalls eine gute Auswahl, sodass wir gut gestärkt starten konnten. Wir würden immer wieder gerne hier übernachten und essen und wer weiß, vielleicht schon nächstes Jahr.

Essen war gut, allerdings war das Quarktöpfchen, welches zum Vorbrot gereicht wurde, vorher nicht gesäubert worden. Das Licher Hefeweizen kann man - zumindest hier - vergessen. Der Wirt hat das auch zugegeben und will den Brauer wechseln. Hotel liegt an der Straße, die Zimmer gehen aber (angeblich alle) hinten raus. Leider hat meines leicht nach Rauch gerochen (man sollte explizit ein Nichtraucherzimmer bestellen, wenn das wünscht)

Sehr ruhiger Gasthof, sehr freundliches Personal und saubere Zimmer mit einwandfreier Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Es funktioniert in der Tat nur ePlus, ideal um wirklich abschalten zu können. Die gestutzte Linde vor der Tür wird hoffentlich bald wieder in vergangener Pracht erscheinen. Schmackhaftes Frühstück mit reichhaltigem Buffet und auch das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert. Bis bald wieder...

Geheimtipp, wenn Abstand vom Business gefragt ist
Kein Handyempfang und etwas Kurverei bei der Anfahrt - wer diese beiden Knackpunkte vergeben kann, wird mit kostenfreiem WLAN (wenn man es denn vor Ort überhaupt noch aktivieren möchte) und einer absolut ruhigen Lage mitten im Taunus entschädigt. Das familiengeführte Hotel ist sauber, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut! Wer wie ich auf der Flucht vor dem Businessstress immer wieder für ein paar Stunden auch in der Fremde eine Insel zum Entschleunigen sucht, wird sich hier bestens aufgehoben fühlen!
