We don't usually book Best Western but we booked this as it seemed an ideal quiet location to view the solar eclipse. As soon as we arrived we was impressed with the ample parking and the politeness of the staff when we booked in. When we opened the door to our room again the room was above our expectations, nice and large living room and kitchen area with a comfortable sofa. The bedroom had a decent bed and was comfortable but a little on the small size compared to our previous hotel. The hotel was very clean, everything looked tidy with no problems. As with all hotels the soundproofing wasn't great and we could hear upstairs having a bit of hows your father, which I guess, shows it was a fun hotel to be at!! we didn't try breakfast because we couldn't be bothered to get up early enough for it but has a look down there after 11 and it was all cleaned up already and you could see a DIY waffle maker. Happy with our stay, Thanks

We enjoyed having the extra space of a suite to celebrate a late family Christmas. We liked the location for visiting Niagara Falls, St. Catherines and Niagara on the Lake. It was nice to have plates, glasses and cutlery for nights we wanted to eat in. We appreciated the daily cleaning service! Nice not to have to make beds on vacation! A little uncomfortable check in when we were told pets weren’t allowed and both our dogs were clearly wearing their service vests and leashes but the staff were very accommodating after that.

The hotel was ok. We stayed just one night and in the morning, we found a bedbug on the sofa bed where family members slept. I put it in a plastic bag to show the staff, and the lady at the front desk said they will “investigate because it’s usually brought in by guests” and she said that she’s not saying we brought it in, but why even say that to your guests. What was she implying?!! She didn’t even apologize or anything. The tiles in the bathroom had molds. And we were staying on the 2nd floor, we can hear the footsteps of the people staying in the room above us.

While the hotel is nice and it is clean I found the suite I was in to be a little on the small size, especially the bathroom , which was about 5 feet by 6 feet in size which made it very cramped. Also it had a kitchenette but no pots or pans so you could not use it. The living room area with the sofa bed was also on the small size as when you opened the sofa into a bed it took up the entire space. The breakfast which although it was included was mediocre at best. I paid $200 a night to stay here and I would say that is about $50 a night too much as there is no pool so there is nothing to do . I feel this hotel is not a very good example of a Best Western Plus so I will not be returning.

The hotel room came exactly as advertised. Staff were friendly. Parking was easy and the location was perfect. Near the canal and not far from the main drag.

Very comfortable stay!
The hotel was very clean and about 30 min drive from Niagara Falls. Welland area is really quiet and nice. Check in clerk was amazing and gave us some tips where to park at the Falls. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a kitchenette. Other reviewers complaining about thin ceilings were spot on but we were lucky to get the room at 3rd floor and out upstairs guest didn’t come into their room until really late around 1 am. I asked for a 4th floor room but they were all booked. They did give us a corner room which was really quiet. Breakfast was decent with waffles and eggs etc. there was a small shopping plaza just 3-5 min walk and a Tim Horton nearby. Overall a pretty good stay and I may be staying there again.
