A great location and a very comfortable hotel.

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: Convenience, price and facilities.
Location: Good restaurants, walking distance to Te Papa and most amenities.
Thanks for the lovely warm welcome, a very efficient team of staff. Enjoyed a lovely rooftop swim in the pool followed by a relaxing spa - awesome. Express brekfast included in price plentiful, filling and fresh. Recommend this great hotel for anyone looking for a friendly and most convenient location, smack in the middle of Cuba St!

Nice hotel central to lots

Posted May 10, 2017
Pros: Cuba St has lots of character, nice restaurants, quirky shops, nice bars and is within walking distance of Te Papa, waterfront and the main shopping.
Cons: The rooms can be a bit dingy, with a very small space (and no lamp nearby) to spread out laptop and papers if it is necessary to work.
I stayed here while attending a conference at Te Papa.

Close to CBD

Posted May 7, 2017
Pros: The staff were the best part of this hotel.
Cons: Major renovations
Location: Quirky town with plenty of shops, and place to eat. Wharf is a short walk as is the Te Papa museum which was amazing.
The room was noisy small, dark and dingy with a view of a roof. No fridge, no air-conditioning. Booked for 2 nights, so very disappointed at the end of a truly great trip

Great friendly efficient staff. Character building beautifully restored with modern fittings sensitively added for modern comfort.
