Right in the middle of Wellington, which meant we didn’t need a car and could walk or catch a bus to everything we needed. Found the staff very friendly and helpful

This property is very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. One step up from a back packers/hostel. Location not ideal with a lot of homeless and unsavoury people.

Friendly, chill staff. Curtain in the room wouldn't close all the way so had a narrow sunbeam in the eyes in the morning. Bed was a bit rough. All round, pretty good.

Inaccessible and unsafe arrangements for wheelchairs. We could not get the pre-arranged shower chair on the first night as the guy in reception knew nothing about it and did not care. Staff service varied. Key card kept de-activating. We could not visit a friend on another floor as there was no access to anyone else. Bathroom too small for commode chair which was totally unsuitable. Overall this hotel is not one I would return to. Needs updating.

Highly recommend not staying at this accomodation. No hot water, very noisey infrastructure with wind coming through the vents. Very dated, filthy furniture and bot particularly clean

This place is overpriced for what you get. Only one lift working. Broken bed, leaking toilet & mould in the shower. Extremely noisy from early morning. Convenient for lots of food options but wouldn’t stay here again

This place is totally fine if you manage to snag a harbour view room, especially on the top floor. Because the whole place is essentially falling apart and no one seems to care about maintenance, it would be depressing getting a standard room that has no view. If you can afford the extra for a view, there's nothing that will ruin your stay - apart from the crackheads and stuff.

Noisy majority of the day from the construction across the road and the irritating fake homeless causing problems for passer-by’s. Road works done at night too from 7pm till 2-3am. Other than that I’d say it would be a nice little area, all staff were amazing.

Almost impossible to park in front of building to check in and off load luggage. Staff friendly at check in. Small. Building tightly crammed against next one. No aircon. Really hot. Missing cutlery. Floor dirty and carpet stained. Extractor fan not working. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure good. Quiet. Except one night drunken guests making noise around elevator. View from windows bad. Parking difficult and very expensive. Central.

Comfy bed had a good sleep and the views were great. Had to park in the Wilson carpark as no parking. The area near hotel was a bit shabby lots of homeless around and quite loud.

Old, dirty, not clean. I know it is old but owners show some pride in your establishment this is just a dirty dirty place. I stayed there last year and if it wasn't that my next stay was non refundable I would have stayed somewhere else. I did look at moving to another hotel but was to late. Thanks staff for being so fantastic 👏

Staff were exceptional. The outside and noise from fellow hotel users & outside edward street bar. But cheap enough stayed 4 days was convenient too city centre but untill they hire a real maintenance manager. Better options around.

There was no attention to detail at this property. The place needs renovation inside and out as it was tired and dirty and not what we expected from this hotel chain compared to other places we have travelled. The staff were non attentive and the overall vibe of the hotel was not impressive at all. We avoided being at the accommodation except to sleep.

We had no warning that the property was next to a building site. Torn plastic on the scaffolding outside the windows was very noisy. Overall a great location close to the centre of town.

Positives:The proximity to the city centre & the fabulous view of the harbour & city from our room were great. Staff were nice & helpful. Negatives: In need of a total makeover. The bathroom had a mouldy, wet smell, even with the bathroom window left open.The couch was so low to sit on that your quad muscles got a workout everytime you got up from it. The floor was uneven throughout, could be a bit unnerving as we were on the 15th floor.

There was work around the entrance so initially it was hard to see. Overall good for the price. The room cleaner tried to get access before checkout at 10am which was a bit strange.
