We were downgraded without being told. The front desk agent was "powerless" to fix our booking without waiting for someone to call them back. 45 minutes, and a missed dinner reservation later, we are summoned to the lobby to have the agent say "here" and walk away after we took the new room keys. No apology for the mix up or for making us miss our dinner reservations with our friends. The suite they upgraded us to had an A/C that didn't work, a bathroom so small you couldn't close the door, no water pressure, no trash can liners, hair in the shower, coffee maker was broken, bed was hard and had a center divot. Overall it was a terrible experience.
