Convenient to downtown Wenachee.

Posted Sep 20, 2016
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Needs an update all over, we had an old type TV, with crappy reception. Room was clean, bar has no character whatsoever and general decor needs updat.
Location: Located near downtown Wenatchee.
Ok stay but expensive for a very outdated average hotel.

Hello, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your stay. I will follow up with our team here to ensure they are providing friendly and efficient service. Unfortunately, all of the hotels in Wenatchee do sit by the train tracks. I'm sure that can be frustrating. Thank you for choosing Red Lion Hotel Wenatchee!

Unfriendly staff

Posted Sep 15, 2016
Hotel registration staff unfriendly. Painting exterior of building and cloud of white paint seen blowing towards hotel customers cars. Given ground floor handicap room that felt unsafe due to sliding flass door easily reached from outside. Room dark and depressing. Turned around and checked out.

Hello Kim, I'm sorry the staff wasn't friendly upon check-in. I will be following up with the team to ensure friendly and efficient service. We are currently under renovations, and they are painting the courtyard of the hotel. We've ensured that the charcoal grey paint not get on any guest cards, and when we start painting the exterior where the parking lot is located, we will be taping off the parking spots to ensure guest do not get paint on the vehicles. Many of our ADA rooms are located on the first floor for ease of the guest. All our rooms do have locking doors on their sliders to secure from inside the room. I'm sorry it didn't feel safe. Thank you for giving us a try, and we'd love for you to come back after the renovations.

Desk clerk was rude. She would not allow me to extend my stay...wanted to raise rate $40.00. I had to go thru expedia for the extra night and was charged an additional $25.00.

The nicest hotel in Wenatchee..

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Pros: This is the finest hotel in Wenatchee with a nice outdoor pool. Lovely upscale décor and landscapping. Felt brand new! Business class.
Cons: Offer free coffee and Danish in your restaurant in am.
Location: Wenatchee is a charming town with antique shops and fine little restaurants for every budget. Convenient drive to Leavenworth, vineyards,Ohme gardens
We arrived one day early (due to our error). The hotel accommodated us but charged us a much higher room rate for the first night because, we were told "we had booked higher rate with Expedia". Eventhough we paid the higher rate for the first night, we did not get a complimentary breakfast. The additional 3 days we stayed, we were not entitled to a complimentary breakfast, so that was ok. We knew this. Our overall experience at the hotel was very good. This is a business class hotel. The rooms and grounds and hotel were beautifully appointed. Very classy. o

Hello Helen, Thank you for letting us know about your recent stay with us. I'm glad we were able to accommodate your early arrival without issue. I'm sorry that breakfast was not part of your stay. It typically depends on which package you purchase with your stay, and I know it can be confusing, and I do apologize about that. I"m glad you found the rooms and grounds to be nice and what you'd expect. Thank you for choosing Red Lion Hotel Wenatchee.

Old. Outdated. Big fat tube TVs in 2016!! V Pricey

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Paid $300 to stay a Saturday night. It is apple picking season and summer. But for crying out loud --- I'd rather stay at a Motel 6 and save miney than stay here. Such a waste. Wish I could get my money back. Pros: * centrally located in Wenatchee * pool facing rooms have a nice view Cons: * The hotel cries out "OLD" and "DEFERRED MAINTENANCE" and "OUTDATED" all over. * Big fat tube TVs!! No flat screen. Not LCD. No LED. Has the standard channels. No HBO or any premium channels. * Wifi is open, no security. * Mattresses were creaky, could feel the springs! * Carpets are super old all through the hotel. Folded and bulging in several places, including stairs, it is a walking hazard. * Breakfast was so bad. Kept running out of stuff. Pancake maker broke down 10 times and made us wait forever. But the hotel staff didn't bother to intervene and offer something else off the menu or something. Bottomline: I wouldn't waste my money on this hotel again.

Amazing stay

Posted Aug 20, 2016
The staff was very nice to me. They were very friendly and approachable. They also allowed a late check out free of charge and kept my belongings at the front desk while I waited for my ride to the airport. Also a very friendly bar staff along with great food and service.

Hotel is in need of updating.

Posted Aug 12, 2016
Staff great and helpful, but hotel is overdue for an update. For example TV was an old 27" 4:3 CRT based analog signal and we could barely watch the olympics. Yes that had to have been 20 years old. I
