We needed a hotel that would allow our dog

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: It allowed our dog.
Cons: Updated
Location: Casinos are not far away. We ate dinner at one.
Our stay was fine. We needed a pet friendly hotel and we found one. The room was nothing special, but it met our needs.

WHAT A MISTAKE

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: tear it down and start over
Online the pictures show a nice hotel. This one was thing BUT nice. Dirty rooms, in need of many repairs. Staff that did not care!!. Will "NEVER" stay there again- priced about same as other hotels in town; BIG ripoff. The Corp. should be ashamed of this location using their name.

Wendover, Utah stay

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: The staff was very nice.
Cons: The room could be cleaner.
Location: We were just passing through so didn't do anything, however casinos were across the street in Nevada, so there would be lots of things to do there.
This was our first night stay on a trip to the midwest. This facility was okay. Our expectations weren't very high. The bed was okay.

This hotel is okay for an overnight stay.

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Decent grounds, nice pool, free breakfast.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room
Location: This hotel is in the Utah side of Wendover. Nearby there is a gas station and a Taco Time. It is also near the major casinos.
The room could use some updating. It was older and worn. The tub would not drain properly so the water backed up in the tub while showering. There was a wet spot on the carpet near the bathroom hallway. The carpet was dirty. We had a pet room so it may be that the cleanliness issue was somehow related to previous pets. They had good facilities for the pool and hot tub including a handicapped lift and basketball hoop. The breakfast was adequate, although the eggs were overdone and the waffles didn't cook properly so they were soggy in the middle. There were a lot of options for breakfast including eggs, waffles, sausages, oatmeal, cold cereal, toast, muffins, donuts, yogurt and fresh squeezed orange juice. This hotel is in the Utah side of Wendover. Nearby there is a gas station and a Taco Time. It is also near the major casinos. This is an adequate hotel.

Not up to Quality Inns standards

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Good price.
Cons: Stated above.
Location: Bonneville Salt Flats and gambling. That's it.
The good news: The price was right at $60/night. The bad news: Dirty hallways. Damage to the building that had not been fixed. Cigarette butts and gum on the walkways. The first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke. (Thankfully, the second room was much better.) The breakfast room had too few tables, there was sticky stuff on the floor, and the legs of the folding chairs stuck out — I almost tripped over one. Overall, a big disappointment from what I would expect for a Quality Inn.
