Nice hotel in an area with many things to do. It had snowed the day of arrival and was beautiful.

Nice hotel but support staff questionable.

When we arrived in our room, we had issues with the commode and called to report for repair. They never fixed it. We went out our first day and expecting a clean room when we returned. The cleaning service didn't show up and the room still unmade. We had to call down to the front desk and ask for clean towels for the next day. Second morning the TV was not working. Just a bad experience overall. When we asked to speak to the manager regarding all the difficulites with our room. The front desk personnel told us they would report it to the manager and the manager would follow up with a call. We never got the call. Still waiting for it.

Wouldn't stay there again!

Checked into the hotel and the manager was extremely nice but when we got to the room, I was disappointed. The carpet was dirty but I decided to not say anything because the hotel was full and they were busy. We decided to stay one more night and just wear our shoes in the room. The next morning we didn't leave till after 10:30 so I stopped by the front desk and asked the girl if she would have my bed made and more towels brought to the room. We didn't get back to the hotel till after 8:30-9p and the bed had not been made, no towels were left and Now the room smelled like dirty feet. I had left wet towels on the floor and one accidentally on the bed. I called down to complain and they were very busy but a nice lady did come up with clean and dry bed linens and towels. She was apologetic about the problem and promised to leave a message with the manager to get hold of me. When we checked out- there wasn't a manager there so I again told the new front desk clerk, the problems and - nothing- No even a promise to have the manager call me. I wasn't hoping for a complete refund but I would have liked to know that my discomfort meant something. The lack of a uncaring Managment staff just showed me that I meant nothing as a customer. If you do stay at this hotel- fair warning that at least on room on the 3rd floor has sticky dirty and SMELLY carpet. Like dirty sox. I will never give this company another $.

Good, clean place. Asheville bargain.

I have no complaints about the facility at all. You may not like it if you truly want to be in the central area of Asheville as it is outside of town a bit-- but otherwise an easy 4.5 out of 5 stars. Very clean and well managed.

Nice hotel not too far from downtown restaurants, Biltmore estates, hiking. Room was nice; breakfast was excellent. Pool/hot tub added to pleasure of our stay.

This is a 3 star hotel MAX.

I paid $250 for one night here and it was very disappointing for what I paid. I expected a really nice hotel for that price. The bed wasn't comfortable at all, although the pillows were actually very nice. The overall quality of the hotel is a 2/3 star and closer to $125 a night.

Fan of Fairfield Inn Hotels

Pros: In his class, is the best of his class in all categories
Cons: Nothing
Location: 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from Biltmore State, walking distance from restaurants and supermarkets mall across the street
We love to stay in Fairfield Inn Hotels, but this one is not only the best,it is so far ahead of the rest of the chain that we visited. The attention to the little details, the quality of the furnitures, breakfast with real plates, glasses and real fork and knifes NO Plastic!! Best ever
