Nothing was shared that this property was been renovated. The pool was closed - no water; had to constantly walk around scaffolding; elevator took a very slow time to arrive and stairs were closed due to painting and wallpapering; the room door had to be pulled strongly (outside) or pushed hard (inside) to close - didn’t realize and door was open when we returned from supper the first night; very limited staff to answer questions; lost parking spaces due to construction meant cars parked behind others and couldn’t get out one morning; etc…

The property is undergoing a massive renovation at this time. The temporary changes they have made to accommodate for it are good. The room was very clean, stocked and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful in dealing with the temporary check-in and check-out location. Breakfast was as expected, but was well-tended and stocked. The shower door was installed incorrectly to prevent water from flooding the bathroom floor. It requires a little rigging to keep it from happening. My only real complaint was that the parking lot is not big enough to accommodate parking for the number of rooms in the hotel.

This property is under extensive renovation. This was not disclosed prior to booking, so upon arrival I found half the parking lot taken up by dumpsters and building supplies.

Poor quality remodel. Sloppy paint, molding cuts were terrible. Bathroom door was missing. Outlet had a light on it in the bathroom and no way to turn it off. Extremely bright at night when trying to sleep.

When we arrived we tried checking in and she said we had no reservation and was basically like “too bad so sad” and went back to her phone. Then I realized I made the reservation under my married last name and not my maiden name and she checked us in. We got to our room and the AC was blasting. It was freezing in there. The fridge was turned all the way down so all of our drinks went into a hot fridge - the remote to the tv was sticky with an unknown substance- the bathroom had hair EVERYWHERE. The microwave didn’t work. It smelled like marijuana in the hallways.

The furniture is terrible. Its so old it has rips in the chairs and the couch was very uncomfortable to even sit on. The tub had the finish coming off of it. I was surprised to find the room so clean with how outdated the furniture, bath, sink, cabinets, doors were.

Terrible view for our room. Humid and smelly bedroom. Shower would not drain. Bed felt like rocks. Pillows flatter than pancakes. Found half eaten chicken wing in corner of room. Breakfast was ok. Staff seemed friendly. No bugs. Awesome Japanese steakhouse within walking distance. Location was within 20 minutes of beach and downtown. Overall subpair hotel for the price. We will not be returining.

The 2 people in reception were awesome! I can't remember their names, but they were so very cheerful and happy. It made me want to stay there. We asked for recommendations for a good seafood restaurant and were given a list, oral directions, and an overview of the restaurants and what was so good about them.

Very disappointing
The 3rd floor hallway and room 310-12 smelled musty. Then the room 226 had lamp with lightbulb hanging from wire. The phone did not have any labels. This is not consistent with the Hilton brand. This facility is in desperate need of a remodel. Very disappointing.

I booked a King Suite with Whirlpool tub. The tub was a significant factor in choosing this hotel. They have an app for check in/out and digital key. The digital key wasn’t ready until 1.5hrs after we arrived, even though I checked in through the app well before we arrived. When we tried to use the Whirlpool tub, there was no stopper. I called the front desk, told them what we were wanting to do and the problem was, so they sent up the "house man." When he came up, I showed him that there was no stopper. He said he would try to find one. After about 20 minutes, he returned, let himself in (much to our surprise), and installed the stopper. Once he left, and we "secured" the door, we filled the Whirpool with anticipation. When the water was at the right level, we pushed the button...and nothing. We found out the next morning that none of the Whirlpools work. They are preparing to remodel and remove them all. They were extremely busy, and busy meant noisy. But they were also nice and professional. The premises was clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was hot.

The staff on duty were not friendly and acted like I was bothering them. The air conditioner made a terrible noise and kept waking me up. The chair in the room was dirty and had a hole in it. Wouldn’t recommend staying here!

The air conditioner rattled so loudly we had to push the chair against it to keep it somewhat quiet. The air was set at 61 when we entered the room and it took a while to warm up. What a waste.
