We liked the location and the room was clean. Front desk wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all though. Also the cable didn’t work for the TV at all.

Ok facilities, staff were not friendly and house keeping started knocking at our door at 9am the day we were leaving, overall just poor staff. Hotel is nice, clean, comfortable.

Very nice property close to downtown and king street. Affordable but yet had all the amenities of a luxury hotel . Will definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful building. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. We parked easily right by our door. The carpet is starting to show wear but the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom had been remodeled. We only stayed one night but we had a comfortable night's rest.

The hotel was very clean. Smelled fresh. Updated room/bathroom. Very pleased. There was a nice restaurant within hotel but no free coffee offered at front desk. There was a coffee maker in room with k cups though...just no creamers. I will definitely stay here again!

The rooms were nice, however for as much as we paid for a suite there was no hot water each morning for showers and the water pressure was low. Hotels manager didn't do anything about the complaints.

The property was quiet, clean and well maintained. All the amenities we needed and a convenient location. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the mattress had two valleys indented on each side.

The room was very spacious. Had a microwave. Keurig, refrigerator. They allowed me early check in and Kate check out. Front desk staff was very informative and helpful.i highly recommend this place.

Our room was right next to the entrance/exit. Door wouldn’t lock. Carpets need replacing, very old & dirty. Food was overpriced and poor quality. The staff were super nice and helpful.

As a first time visitor to Charleston, I found this hotel at a great price and was pleasantly surprised at the central location to everything I had planned and did during my quick weekend trip. The hotel check-in was quick and the room was great. I appreciated the doors around the property, so you can exit/enter and park near your room. The first night was great, second night there was a group of guests who had multiple rooms around us and were extremely inconsiderate and loud - banging on doors, what sounded like partying in the hallway, and slamming door rooms - throughout the night and early in the morning. Luckily night three was quiet again. On nights two and three, two out of the four large towels had hair/stains on them and were unusable. There are also information cards that housekeeping puts on the bed - on the second day, we noticed a hand written note on the inside of one of the cards (probably from a prior guest to the staff) about blood stains on sheets. I’m assuming these cards are reused and no one noticed before placing on our beds? Overall a pleasant stay in a great location and reasonable price.

Interesting motel feel property. The front desk person seemed like she wasn't super happy being there but she directed us to where we could find our room so she did her job. Unfortunately the pool deck wasn't open to at least sit outside in the beautiful weather we had for our visit. We would have even used the outdoor pool. The room could use a little TLC...the bar in the shower had a part that had separated from the wall, there was a stain that looked like blood on a pillow and a pillow case was fraying. It's an interesting place with and nice but just a bit tired and in need of refurb
