This is a great place to stay. They are renovating the rooms so right now there is building material in the parking area. Once done it should be even better.

TV wouldn’t work, they offered another room but one of us did not want to sleep on a pull out bed. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The staff was super friendly and so courteous. The facility and room was very clean . It was very peaceful and quiet. Next time I’m in Boise and I need a room I will definitely come back to Candlewood suites.

We booked two rooms with two beds and one room only had one bed and a couch and the couch was awful dirty with food. The room had a bad smell. Countertop weren’t cleaned. We had internet issues and they told us to YouTube the problem. We wanted both rooms on the same floor and they were on different floors.

The room smelled like mildew and the shower head was not attached to the wall. There were pubic hairs in one of the bath towels and one of the other towels had black stuff on it resembling mold. The sign out front by the street had a massive hole in it. One thing cheap hotels always skimp on is insulation between walls and floors, making it impossible to sleep. This place was no exception. Next time I will spend extra money and go elsewhere. I won’t book here again.

Absolutely vile! Do not recommend!
The room smelled absolutely disgusting. This was a non-smoking facility, but I’m pretty sure somebody lived there for 20 years and smoked it the entire time and then they just gave it a quick wipe down and put me in there. I checked the room for bedbugs, and when I pulled the mattress off I found a used condom and a bunch of hairs. I looked between the cushions of the recliner and found toenails and pubic hairs, and chewing tobacco pouches shoved down in the corners. I couldn’t run the air conditioner because the stench was so atrocious, it drove me out of the room! I ended up leaving at four in the morning and cancelled my second day and got another hotel.

Great service - bed very small - not much around
Recommend this hotel. A very well run, clean and friendly establishment. Loved the kitchenette and boy this it came in handy as there was not much around to eat. Headed up the street about a kilometre and found a fab grocery store and assembled a healthy dinner. Biggest bugbear was that the bed was very small - but apart from that the hotel was great. Astounded at the cost of hotels in Boise given the lack of dining options around. Buts that’s a Boise thing - the rate at this hotel was fair enough.

It is an older motel and the wear is very noticeable and most visual in the rooms where the carpets need a good and complete cleaning. I hated to walk on the carpet without shoes because it was very dirty and stained. The floor in front of the dishwasher was sticky to the feet. will not stay there again.
