We needed an early check in and this was sorted for us no problem.
Clean room. Comfy bed. Good shower.
Although no-one manned the reception, the host was easy to get hold of and made the stay easy as pie.

“The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pub/hotel has a lovely oldie world feel to it. The surroundings were very peaceful. The service was also faultless - when we asked for a couple of things to be changed in the room it was done immediately. The Walnut Tree was excellent value for what we paid.

Fresh warm cookies on arrival, fresh milk, and the little goodie bag of toiletries was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was freshly cooked and we loved the homemade ginger and turmeric shots!! “We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”
