Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Columbus West

5505 Keim Circle, Columbus 43228 - Map
"Nice hotel near highway and lots of shopping"
The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. They appeared to be in the process of refurbishing the hotel. My family and I have stayed here before and the suites are great for a family. They have updated the pool area and it looks nice but the tile that they put around the pool is not a good tile for a pool. It gets VERY slippery when it's wet. My son took off his shoes and was walking toward the pool and his feet shot right out from under him and he hit the ground hard knocking the wind out of him. Other than the slippery tile it was a good, clean place to stay with very comfortable beds.

Pocket Guide: Columbus West Columbus Wyndham Worldwide Hotels

Franklinton, sometimes known as the Bottoms, is the neighborhood immediately west of downtown. This part of Columbus gets its nickname because much of the land here is below the level of the city's Scioto and Olentangy rivers, and a floodwall is required to contain the rivers to protect the area against floods.
