My First Time Experience at Courtyard West

Overall not bad. My room was clean, my comfortability level was compromised by the glass patio door instead of a secured window or just a plane wall given the location of the room (134). I just didn’t feel safe with just the little latch. Also there is a door across the hall from this room, which people used continually, the door slammed each time it closed. This made a good night sleep impossible.

We had a wonderful experience! We did encounter a small issue while there & I was surprised to learn that Mariott does not have General Managers at their hotels on weekends. However, the staff worked hard to help us out, and on Monday, General Manager Gayle Gatlock did a WONDERFUL job of addressing it, to our complete satisfaction. I eould recommend staying here.

Ridiculous design with pool in center of lobby. Extremely noisy. There was a party in the lobby/banquet hall until 2 am & the noise was unbearable, all we were offered was earplugs! 8hr drive & $400, we get earplugs! All the pool & lobby conversations rise to the surrounding rooms, tried to speak with a manager but was told she is uvavailable both days of our stay.

Convenient to highway

Pros: Convenient location to I-70
Cons: Free breakfast
Location: Right off the highway so short drive into Columbus
The outside is dark and does not look appealing but inside the amenities are good and the staff was super friendly. Nice bar/lounge area in the lobby to hang out in. Room was spacious and clean.

A little with the kids

The room was facing the courtyard and you got the noise from the pool and people talking past midnight. Switched room to back of motel,was better.
