Absolutely horrible. I informed them that I would not be arriving until after 10pm. No one was there. An utter ghost town. I had to sleep on a picnic table.

WORST HOTEL ON THE PLANET
In forty years of traveling this was my worst experience. When I got to the hotel there was no office there. So I went across the street to restaurant to ask if they new anything about the hotel. as it turned out the waitress had something to do with the hotel. When I told her I had a reservation she said that I did not. She then made a call to someone and she said she could give me a room. When I inspected the room there were no towels any where. There was a tiny ac unit in the window which would have worked ok, but one of the crank out window would not close. In the morning I took off a bed sheet to use as a towel in order to take a shower. Surprise, not only was there no hot water, but there was no water, for a shower, sink or toilet. my search went on for an office, but there was none, and the restaurant across the street was closed. So there I was, hot, sweaty and there were no other hotels anywhere on that side of the island with a vacancy. I ended up continuing on my day and finally found a place to stay that night. Oh.... I was quoted 100 for the room on this site, but was told I had to pay 110 to the waitress at the restaurant.

Realize I'm in the British Virgin Islands but the room was straight out 1960 circa Florida motels. Room was small, with a small refrigerator, bed and that's all. Unfortunately, it was $150 for the one night.

Good base camp
This is pretty bare bones. A nice clean basic room with just enough A/C to sleep at night. The staff is from the restaurant across the drive and really aren't there for the rooms, but are most helpful. The restaurant is great but no breakfast, for that you have to walk about 15 min. or so down the road. If your looking for a base in Tortola this is a good spot, right next to the ferry terminal and west end taxi stand.There is really no close spot to swim, I got a car after a few days and was glad I did. Book the car online before you come to save some money.

A gem in Soper's Hole!
We spent one night here just prior to our cat charter. It really is like others have said...very friendly staff, great restaurant on the water, basic but satisfactory rooms. This is not the hilton, but it's perfect for a night or two pre/post chartering. Comfy beds and even though there was A/C, the ceiling fan and cross ventilation in our corner room was more than ideal for sleeping. It's close to the ferry on the west end of Tortola and located in a popular anchorage called Soper's Hole. The owner Heather was very helpful pre arrival via emails too!
