Very clean with amazing checkin/out service

Location: I walked to Hattie B's and got AMAZING hot chicken
When I first got there I had a lovely woman check me in. My room smelled clean and looked VERY clean. Breakfast was okay, the service was amazing though.

Next to Vanderbilt stadium!

They charge $23 for parking.....self park.....should be posted so you know ahead of time..... they were kind enough to waive ours because of a delay in check in. Disappointed to get a receipt when we left for $40 less than what Expedia charged us! You think you are getting the best deal. We're not talking about taxes and fees.

Convenient to Vanderbilt

We stayed and walked across street to the football stadium. Could not be more convenient and had a free shuttle to downtown. We used to shuttle multiple times. The only disappointment was no free breakfast.

good location and decent breakfast

Pros: location, breakfast, wifi speed, bed comfort
Cons: Increase staff at restaurant. One server had to handle all of the tables at breakfast.
This is an older Holiday Inn. While the property has been updated and is generally aesthetically pleasing, I would choose a newer hotel for my next visit to Nashville. My room was loud between elevator and plumbing noises, making sleep difficult.

Visit to Nashville

Pros: Everything
Cons: Room did smell a bit stale
Location: Restaurants, shopping , Vanderbilt University.
I really liked this hotel. Very nice. Especially loved the songwriters singing in the evening at the hotel. Very entertaining.

Great location, internet down however

Pros: Close to restaurants, shuttle to them and overall staff very friendly.
Cons: internet, and accommodations for internet not working at all
Location: Eat, shop, close to downtown, Vanderbilt football stadium directly behind it.
Everything was great except for one thing. I was traveling for business, which internet is a must, especially Wifi.The internet was down the entire time I was there. It made it very hard to get work done back at the hotel. They did suggest using the lobby computers since they are hard wired, but that would not work since my works system is on my laptop and ipad. Also, the only way to get internet would be to have a hard wired computer, which in this day in age is very rare to those who travel for business or personal trips.

Great night staff very helpful. It was great to be able to use the courtesy bus to downtown. Ray the driver was full of information and stories.

Needs upgrade

The location is 10 minute from downtown in which was great. Pros: Across from a McDonalds for breakfast Movies on demand Room service was quick and order was right View Cons: Ran out of water for shower one morning at 7am Decor failing apart Certain hard to reach areas of the room very dusty Wifi is as fast as dial up Shuttle unreliable 22 dollar self parking Wine hour was 30 mins with no food as advertised Car valet attendee not helpful and more interested in phone

Nice Hotel in Nashville

I have to admit that my experience with this hotel did not start in a positive way but was happy by the time we left. I reserved a room with a king bed; however, when we checked in, I was informed that we would be getting 2 queen beds. I told the woman at the front desk that my confirmation clearly showed a king bed. She replied with "it didn't come through our system that way and there is nothing I can do". I showed her two confirmations that showed that I booked a king bed. She said that the king beds were first come, first serve and all of the king beds were gone. Check in starts at 4:00 and it was 4:15 so I had a hard time believing this to be true. She offered to discount our valet parking fee and gave us complimentary breakfast. Would've rather had the king bed but she made it clear that wasn't an option. At least she did something because we weren't off to a good start. Room was nice and clean. It's nothing fancy but served our purpose very well. Very nice outdoor pool area. Everyone I encountered on the service staff was friendly and would always say hello and ask how you were doing. I will stay here again just for the pool.
