Nice but not running back

I don't necessarily dislike the hotel. My first impression was good. Walking into the lobby everything seemed nice, clean and new. The concierge a young nice lady lady was very professional and courteous. She even came from behind the desk to show me direction a small map she gave me. That was a nice touch(rather than reaching over). Once I made it to the room(which was far away). That's when things got interesting. The room was small(I had a double bed situation as I was traveling w 3 young kids). It was nice to a point that it was refreshed and the furniture was new. I wasn't a fan of the bed being a top mattress with a platform under(it made it a particularly hard bed). I guess what I missed to write before is that the whole place got refreshed with "new" or "modern" feel to it. But it wasn't u too I got in the bathroom to check it out that things just weren't good. The bathroom was very small almost felt like a closet. It was very claustrophobic honestly. But I guess it worked because at least it had been refreshed with a new vanity and huge mirror......

Weekend breather

Pros: Room layout, view, ambience, location
Cons: Free wi-fi, less expensive food, would be good
Location: Near White Plains, good shopping, restaurants, Historic Hudson Valley
Need for a quiet weekend, close to home, away from noise, to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Really nice pool

Stayed here because of the pool and it was worth it. Food was pretty good (not cheap). Very nice stay.

Inconvenient

I booked a room and later realized I booked it for the wrong date the 18, instead of the 19th. I called them to see if can move the date back and they told me I have to pay the full price of the room in order to cancel. Then pay another full price for another room. So basically pay 2 times for 1 night all because of an error. I told Expedia to discontinue doing business with this hotel. They are going to give Expedia a bad reputation, makes me not want to book a hotel through expedia ever again. I will never book this hotel ever again. I stayed there 4 tines before. Not ever again though

Great Hotel

Pros: Staff newnit was my new hubbys birthday and put complimentary champagne and truffles in our room.
Cons: I had zero complaints with the hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great renovated hotel away business

This was my first time at the Renaissance and decided to book it for a weekend getaway. When we first walked in we noticed it was renovated which was pleasing to see. We love that it's nice and quiet and we were also able to drive to nearby restaurants and mall in order to still enjoy ourselves.

Overall, the stay at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel was great. The staff is nice and the room provided everything we needed as well.
