Not a value for your money

Posted Jul 4, 2017
I booked this hotel for one night.on the website it had great pictures, pool and an airport shuttle. The lobby is ok.. and it was easy to get to by light rail. That Is the end to the good features. I checked in and the bathroom of my room smelled moldy. They offered a second room, that had no moldy bathroom, but the room was dirty. The third room only a bit better, I figured, after asking twice already for, at least a decent room for the night, that it was best they can do. And I had to move my stuff. There was a wedding at the hotel so they closed the outdoor pool. The indoor pool looks like it was never updated for at least 25 years. Then when I went to sign on for the shuttle..they told me they don't have one, but I can pay them and they will call and have the shuttle come. This cost me another unexpected 75 NIS ($25) at least the shuttle part went well. There was no management to be found to make my stay better. Despite the nice (and misleading name) I would definitely not recommend anyone going to this hotel.

The room furniture was somewhat old and the bathroom cleanliness was wanting. The bath was quite stained. as was the kitchen area sink and work top.

staff was okay, but amazing breakfast!!!

Posted May 11, 2017
Pros: Loved the breakfast the most.
Cons: More attentive security and staff when our room keys weren't working TWICE.
Location: Okay location, quiet which was good.
This hotel was okay, however the first room we were in the water was scaldingly hot and the room key didn't work even after the supposedly fixed it multiple times. Everything was better when we switched rooms, and the breakfast was incredible.

Front desk staff was very argumentative and not friendly at all.they have sent us in 2 occasions in a room that was occupied already. And once in a room that was not prepared for new guests. I will not be using them again on any of my upcoming travel.

Great potential with a few small improvements.

Posted Feb 19, 2017 on Hotels
We always enjoy our stay here, Nice to be warmly greeted by Ronit. A few compliments & suggestions for improvements. 1)Great WIFI. 2)BREAKFAST: Better services but poorer quality food. They omelette chef bar & the newly added fresh salad chef are great additions. However, on the other side, they have removed their fresh fruit bowl, Halva offerings, & removal of the "real kosher quality cheeses" ("the stinky kind") I found only the same basic cheap cheese slices & basic cream cheeses dressed up to look different. Also, the herring plates look as if they are their last legs while the matjes herring has sporadically been served in the summer and only 2 days of our stay last week. Usually there were some different choices each day but this last week not. As well, outside of less healthy chocolate and vanilla (both artificial) puddings, the selection of delicious yoplait yogurts again are only sporadically available & limited in quantity. In conclusion, while best not to eat too much, I do miss these quality breakfast items that I have expected at the Jerusalem Gardens and Spa buffet breakfast. 3) Would like to thank Carlos, the new room service and bar manager. Hopefully, the new lobby menu will be as good and well priced as in the past. 4) One other small criticism. It is very disheartening to come to the synagogue for morning prayers only to find the room in a mess after an evening function & without heat. I believe that the Mashgiach staff should take better personal interest
