Very nice hotel in a great location

My daughter and I spent five nights here. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely return. It was within walking distance of about 12 minutes to ben yehuda street and to mamilla mall. It was about 25 minute doable walk to the kotel. The staff was great, (special mention of Samih in the dining room).The breakfast was great and I was extremely pleased with the incredible selection of the Shabbat meals offered. They have 2 Shabbat elevators, with each one stopping on either even or odd floors but not both, which makes using them on Shabbat a lot more convenient. . The room was very nice. I don't know if it was renovated or not, but it looked like it was worth what we paid for. The sheets were heavenly and the beds were very comfortable. the only reasons I did not give it a five star rating are that our room, had a musty sort of smell when you came in (if you opened the window for a few minutes it was fine). As well the toilet had a funny smell . I think it must have been coming in from the pipes. Lastly, our room was almost directly across the elevators so we could hear the people waiting for them at 6am. Solved that by wearing ear plugs. We stayed in room 1108. Having said thiat I would still recommend the hotel, just ask for a renovated room away from the elevators.

no service at all

No service. I had to ask my self:when is Breakfast?where is it?when is cheaking out. I got no information unless i asked. No service. No wellcome atmosphere.(Concierge was nice though).

Good choice

Good hotel, near old city, really good breakfast, pool and gym, parking lot for 35 ILS a day. There was everything we need for our vacation in Jerusalem.

overall the accommodations were fine, the rooms lovely and clean. the issue I had was that there is no iron in the room for a hotel guest to have to take their clothing to another floor to iron them is extremely inconvenient . in the other hotels we have stayed at there was always an iron and ironing board in the room this would affect my choice of stay in the future as I cannot be draggin clothing to another floor and waiting on line to iron when I have meetings to go to.

I have been sent this survey repeated times and I initially answered a positive rating for my actual stay and then wrote you about a negative situation that occurred, While on vacation I spent an enormous amount of time trying to contact both Hotels.com and the booking agent of this hotel as well. I have not heard back about the situation but yet I receive more emails each day about rating your hotel and additional deals being offered. A very worn out hotel for a premium price. Tread worn towels. However, a good location and a large, expansive breakfast buffet. Lobby much to loud and busy to converse with friends. Friends stayed at Eldan for 1/4 the price. Smaller hotel, very clean and bright. My choice next trip.
