Newer hotel at busy Cedara Bluff exit. Seems newer and nicer than my previous perception of Baymonts. Friendly staff, good hot breakfast

Convenient and great price

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we inquired about local restaurants. We have paid twice the price for similar hotels.

Pros: Proximity to the office I needed to go to.
Cons: Would like to have copy of my final bill. It was to be emailed but I have not yet received it.
Location: Lots of restaurants close by.
It was a one night stay. Nothing exciting to report.

Great Value

Pros: The staff, the lobby, and the free breakfast.
Cons: The rooms do seem a little dated, however, the entrance and lobby are quite eye-catching.
The Baymont Inn and Suites was exactly what was needed for the weekend of our stay. The staff here is absolutely phenomenal. With it being a gameday weekend and all the staff was completely on point and incredibly accommodating. The facilities themselves are nice here but the staff makes the stay worth it.

Room 111 had brown/ black water coming out of shower when turned on. Therefore we didn’t get to take a shower.

Enjoyed our stay

We had made reservations online as we got close to Shelbyville KY and knew we had to stop and rest. When we arrived the lady at the desk was on on the phone with someone who obviously was another customer planning a group stay. It was easy to notice she is very professional. After the phone call ended it was a quick check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Rooms on the back facing the road is not for light sleepers. There is a very nice restaurant with-in walking distance behind the hotel.

Hotel was nice but check in was terrible

Pros: Breakfast was good, clean room, overall hotel is nice.
Cons: check in
Had been driving for 12 hours so booked it online at 7:05 pm, 5 mins before we arrived. When I tried to check in they couldn't find my reservation, waited and waited, nothing. At 7:35 tried calling expedia, put on hold. At 7:45 hotel finally found reservation, and I was told they have trouble with expedia reservations sometimes. Never did get to talk to expedia. Tired and frustrated, got to room at 7:55. The hotel itself is nice enough, just a terrible checkin experience.
