Pros: clean, good breakfast, comfy bed Cons: I10 road noise We just stopped here for an overnight stay on a road trip. Didn’t use the pool or gym.

Very nice location inside needs some work
The desk front person spoke so low and soft i had to ask him multiple times to speak up and i was the only person in the lobby. There was no vending machines. Water was on the floor around the refrigerator in the room. The ceiling fan in the room made noises and was shaking like it was going to fall down.

All in all the hotel was ok. Bed was comfortable. The property wasn't as clean and well kept as other Holiday Inn Expresses that I've recently stayed at. The variety at breakfast wasn't as good as other Holiday Inn Expresses that I've stayed at either.

I don’t know where to start. When I entered my suit, I looked around to check for cleanliness. The bathroom toilet was awful. It had fecal matter around the entire bowl which was disgusting. Whom ever cleaned that room need to be retrained including their supervisor that inspected it. I was moved to another suit and the fridge didn’t work.. both rooms had hair on the bathroom floor. I’m not a picky person but I expected better. I traveled three hours with my mother for my only grandsons first birthday. I will not stay here again. I will do a better job on researching my location the next time we travel to Louisiana. By the way, Ms Carleen did a great job trying to accommodate and make us comfortable. She even came up to the first room and saw the toilet. I tried to be fair on this review considering they were apparently short on housekeepers. But that’s where management earn their money by stepping in and actually work, property train and maintain a clean facility. I won’t even post these pics because my written review should grasp their attention….

Everything was great except that we were awakened by housekeeping at 8:00 AM. Since we didn’t open the door, housekeeper opened it with her key. Check out is supposed te be at 11:00. Housekeeping should respect that.

Check in staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great! The carpets in bedroom looked clean but after walking barefoot, it seems that they weren’t as clean as I thought. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Why we arrived, our suite had a strong cigarette smell. The staff quickly moved us to a more spacious suite. They were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was OK.

Pleasantly surprised!
Wonderful hotel. The staff was so welcoming when we checked in. Lobby and guest rooms nicely appointed. Interior and exterior of the building clean and inviting. Plenty of dining options close by. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was well stocked with warm options. The staff was notably friendly. On the downside, it would have been nice if the room fan had an 'on' option instead of just 'auto' and the shampoo was empty.

The room had such a bad smell. It smelt as if it had a ferret in the room. I had to spray perfume and cologne to be able to stand it but once we left and came back to the room the smell was still there and smelt just as bad. It was horrible.
