Stay Away!

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Pros: Beds ok.
Cons: New corporate leaders to start, then maybe they wouldn't run such a roach motel.
Location: Waffle house in parking lot. Right off highway
Absolutely, hands down, the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. I'm sorry for the rant, but if this can keep someone from having the experience I had, I'm going to let her rip. First, the hotel staff is rude, unfriendly, and nasty. None of them even had a clean shirt on. When I got into my room it was sweltering hot, when I complained to hotel staff I was told that it was company policy that they turn the air off in between guest....even in July. I ended up having to move rooms because the air just would not work. After we got moved to another room, we still ended up having to leave for a few hours because the heat was was so bad it was making me sick. When we did get back to the room to get ready to bed, we could not even take showers because the towels were dirty, I mean really dirty with what looked like blood. I called the front desk but never got clean towels. The tv and the phone did not work in the room, and the furniture had some kind of mystery sticky on it. All night people were right outside my door yelling or partying. In the morning, we went to get the "free hot breakfast", there were two boxes of cereal and milk left out, what a joke!. I feel like I was seriously misled by the reviews on this hotel on expedia. There is NO WAY any of the positive things I found were real. I even went on the better business bureo webisite and found that econo lodge had consistently horrible service. If you need a hotel, pay a little extra for something clean.I am beyond livid

DEFINATELY ECONOMY CLASS HOTEL

Posted Jun 23, 2016
Pros: It is close by downtown Memphis (about 6 miles on the freeway) and affordable. Fast food places to eat nearby and access on/off he freeway was easy.
Cons: The overall condition was a bit rundown and to expected from a budget hotel.
One gets what one pays for and no surprises here. What one would expect from a economy hotel and right by a freeway which is loud. Not the nicest of neighborhoods but there where places nearby offering fast food, etc. Definitely a truck stop area and not really suitable for an extended stay. The staff was nice.

great rate thru expedia-AARP

Posted Apr 12, 2016
Pros: Desk Clerk at check in was very pleasant. The room was clean, room was of good size.
Location: I went to a very good Gastropub for dinner, SOB (South of Beale). Very good food.
Unfortunately, this motel is located just feet from the interstate and the road noise is horrendous. I slept with my ear plugs in to get any sleep. Otherwise I liked the room. The desk clerk was impressed with the rate I book at with expedia-AARP. I believe it was $38 for a room the usually goes for $52

Terrible hotel, would never recommend

Posted Mar 28, 2016
Our stay here started with the check in clerk swearing and yelling at someone on the phone. Then when we got to our room, the second lock on our door was broken. The cleanliness was the worst thing I have ever experienced in a hotel. Aside from everything in the rooming looking like it had never been cleaned, the bed was the worst. The sheets looked like the past 10+ people before us had used them along with the pillows. Not only were the pillows dirty, they were so used that it was as if there was only 10 cotton balls in them. The shower was so ill taken care of that we didn't even bother to shower in it. There was also constant shuffling and noises coming from outside the door, making it hard to get a a decent nights sleep, if that was ever even possible. Even though it was a cheap deal, I would highly recommend spending the extra money to ensure cleanliness, safety, and a good nights sleep.
