As soon as you walk in the door, there are a bunch of plants which is fine. However, they give off a very unpleasant smell and you can fell they aren't for decoration as they were just placed in a big group in the corners. Checking in was fine no issues. We got to our room and as soon as we walked in we could feel the humidity and stickiness. We went to chexk the A/C and it wasn't even on. In fact, it didn't turn on. We thought it was the cord or maybe tripped the socket, but my husband reset it and checked the cord and it still didn't work. So after a few minutes, he went to the front desk to see about getting another room and the clerk said she had to turn it on. Huh??? I guess they turn off A/C supply for all rooms not in use to save on money. Ok, i get that. However, if you know you will be having guests in a room and the temps outside are in the 90s, dont you think you should turn them on? At least to help keep the air flowing? So the A/C came on and we thought it would be fine. Nope. Air that came out was room temp feeling and the room never cooled that night. We couldn't open the windows as there were no screens so we sleep with no blankets, I slept on the floor next to unit because i had taken my top off and didn't think my two boys wanted to see any slippage. The top mattresses felt like box springs and the headboards would squeak whenever you moved. When we left in the am it was cooler outside than in oir own room. HORRIBLE.
