Bad check-in; given dirty room

Pros: location
Cons: Train staff in how to handle problems. Either don't allow guests to book through Expedia or train staff to handle a booking done through Expedia.
Location: It was a business trip. I was in and out of hotel in 8 hrs. It was just a place to sleep and take a shower.
I booked my stay through Expedia about 6 hrs before I intended to arrive. When I go to the hotel, the clerk would not give me a room as she said they had no record of my reservation. I gave her a print-out of my Expedia confirmation. The clerk said Expedia confirmation # did not match their system and she could not help me and she would not call Expedia. I then called Expedia, and the Expedia rep called the hotel + worked everything out. [The Expedia rep was very helpful.] When I got my room card and went to the room, the card would not open the door. I went back to the lobby and the clerk re-entered the key card. When I went back up to the room and entered, the bed was not made and there were used towels on the bathroom counter. It took 1/2 hr between when I arrived and when I was in a clean room. While the clerk was pleasant, she had no skills in customer service and showed no interest.

Good hotel for the price. Room and bathroom were very clean. Room and bed linens had a funny odor. This would not stop me from staying at this hotel again.

Ok but can only exit one way onto the road. This was a pain as we had to go in the opposite direction to Eat. The room was clean and nice the kitchen was ok but we had no use for it. The staff was kind and courteous. The grab and go breakfast was not good at all coffee tea and a small muffin or granola bar.

College move in

Pros: Clean and reasonable
Cons: We stayed two nights, they did not clean the room but I think that is what extended stay is all about.
Location: Close to highway
Needed a last minute room to move my son into the frat house at Carnegie Mellon, this is a little further from campus than I wanted, but it worked fine. It was clean and reasonably priced and that's what I was looking for.

Great place for pets

Enjoyed the 1st floor room, made it very easy to take my 2 Boxers in and out. Bed was comfortable and staff was available 24 hours. Great value for any traveling pet owner. Will stay there again.

Hotel close to downtown

The hotel was clean however there were no extras. No extra pillows, no extra cups. Included breakfast was " grab and go" versus a continental breakfast. No general/central sitting area

A/C quit working on day 2 of my stay and the hotel clerk could care less or be helpful in any way. Hotel itself was clean and nice but on a hot day, A/C is critical
