This hotel should cost $25 per night for the condiPosted Aug 17, 2017
We stopped here on our way to the beach, and paid $80 for the night. First of all there is no elevator so I had to drag my luggage up a bunch of stairs. Second and most importantly, the room was filthy. It smelled like mold or mildew and had water damage on the ceiling. All of the furniture was stained and I was afraid to walk in bare feet on the carpet. We slept in our clothes on top of the covers because of the lack of cleanliness. The toilet had a crack in the tanks and the water did not drain in he shower. The coat to stay here should be $25 not $80, but we did survive.

Can't recommend for safety reasonsPosted Jul 30, 2017
Cons: The place needs serious maintenance. The 2nd floor hallway is not safe for someone with unsteady footing.
I was looking for something cost effective near an event my family was attending. I thought I'd found it with reasonably positive reviews. While the front desk staff at the hotel was friendly, the facility itself was lacking if not unsafe. Two particular things stood out. As I and other guests walked down the seemingly unairconditioned upstairs hallway, we all began commenting on the condition of the floor. Although the carpet was in fairly good shape, it was obvious that the flooring underneath was not. We could feel noticeable holes in the flooring. I'm not sure how deep those holes were but at least one appeared to be bridged only by the carpet. I my heel did not reach a solid subfloor. The sill for the fire door at the end hallway was broken. The floor sagged almost an inch under the door. One evening I found the door jammed open because the sill plate had come loose and was buckled up. I pressed it flat so the door would close. Add a loose floor tile in the bathroom and a musty smell from the AC and it was just sufficient. FYI, there is no elevator. The room was overpriced at $99 per night to say the least.

Mildew everywherePosted Jul 5, 2017
The smell of mildew in the bathroom was overwhelming. The tub and shower head were dirty and discolored. There was mildew or mold on the shower curtain. It was one of the dirtiest bathrooms I've seen. We left early so we could get to our destination and shower as we refused to shower or bathe our son in those conditions.

Nice place for overnight stayPosted Jun 24, 2017
We stayed there for a golf tournament at Old Waverly. Very close (<10 minutes) to the course. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Nothing extraordinary, just a clean, nice stay!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was not open, however did not ask why.
Very Comfort for Price Needs a Little TLCPosted Apr 24, 2017 on Hotels
It was in a good spot for going to Old Waverly and Waverly Mansion. The room pricing is reasonable but a bit higher than normal, not sure what else was going on in the area. Our room was comfortable, bed and cleanliness was great. But bathroom needs a little attention.
