dirty curtains, dirty bathroom floor, dead bugs against wall, dirt and dust behind bed, drawer hanging out that just needed to be put in right, smelled musty with heavy scent of febreeze to cover it up

Decent for one nigh stay

Posted Feb 20, 2017 on CheapTickets
Had to be in Starkville for MSU event - was the closest accommodations at the time. Older "motel" - not a hotel. No updates done. Several cobwebs - but no visible LIVE bugs. Complimentary shampoo/conditioner had been used so be sure to bring your own. Bed sheets were clean and room smelled clean. Bathroom door didn't close well and toilet was well worn. Continental breakfast, only had 3 pastries and a couple bagels out... They might would have put more out if I'd asked, but considering there were at least 12-15 rooms occupied you would have thought the pastry bins would have been filled. Easy check-in and check-out. Would have considered this more of a $50/night motel --- not an $80/night hotel as advertised.

Days Inn West Point, MS

Accidentally booked a room for the wrong date and staff happily worked through the changes with me without any extra fees or charges. Bed was also very comfortable, so overall it was a great choice.
