Great staff and comfortable room. Dissapointed that I did not receive a coffee pot in the room even though I called and asked to have it delivered. Still it was late at night. I called again and it was delivered.

Suburban hotel

Took three rooms before I found one acceptable. First smelled Smokey. Next was not clean. Next smelled slightly Smokey. Discount offered for trouble but none given

convenient if you have a meeting in the area

Cons: condition of the rooms
Location: convenient if you have meetings nearby in the portland area
friendly staff, efficient experience. i am glad i stayed at this location. it made it very easy to get to my early morning meeting nearby. but the idea of staying an extended period of time in this hotel.... well, i would be skeptical of that. pretty tight quarters, and unimpressive amenities.

nice kitchen quiet

Cons: staff improvement of attitude
Location: stores nearby
Had trouble getting dishes/utensils for my room, had to ask two times and then second time, the staff wanted me to leave my room at night and come and "get them because we are busy." Otherwise, stay was pleasant.

Unsanitary & smelly, old

Pros: the outside appearance
Cons: remove all carpeting--upgrade heaters---provide retraining for housekeeping regarding sanitation, hygiene, and potential OSHA health hazards
Location: Beaverton, Oregon--Portlands activities abound
We purchased 2 rooms online 3 weeks ahead. pictures and outward appearances seemed modern, tidy and nice. On arrival, the receptionist (10pm) had gone to lunch so 4 people were waiting for service--My 2 "non smoking" rooms were not near each other. That's ok--BUT 1 room smelled bad from cigarettes/weed--an old incense stick stuck in the picture on the wall, a large bowl of alfredo still in the microwave, and the heater wouldn't turn off, but left a huge puddle of water on somewhat new laminate. the other rooms heater wouldn't work at all--and a large damp ring was apparent surrounding the heater. The box springs of both rooms had stained edges. ONe rooms window screen was twisted and being on the ground floor, I was hesistatn to air the room out becaseu people could potentially get in. The desk personnel were very pleasant --and shared this with their managers.
