nice hotel-beautiful grounds and water fall.

Room was clean. Very simple but clean. Easy to get to. Can be seen from main road. Staff very assisting and friendly. Referred my brother (he went for solar eclipse). Continental breakfast was adequate.

Dirty, old, needs to be updated and cleaned

This hotel is very old and dirty. We stayed in room 158 and were very disappointed. The bathroom had black mold all over it. The smell of the room reminded us of an old gross casino. Maybe it used to be a smoking room? The room was not cleaned very well...splatters on the wall, unvacuumed carpet. It smelled so bad, we complained and they said they would come spray odor deodorizer...they never did. So we grabbed a car air freshener tree and hung it in the room. The pool was actually great....the kids loved the pool. The breakfast in the morning was ok at best...table linens were dirty, and I think the boiled eggs made two of family members sick. Not a good experience.

Pros: The food was great at the lounge
Cons: Not much
Location: Location was ok not much around unless you want to drive
Would have rather stayed in the newer part of the hotel with a patio overlooking the pool

Surprisingly Nice

The check-in was easy and went quickly. The room was very spacious with small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The motel sits on the side of a hill and makes it difficult for customers with mobility issues to get to the room and to the room with the continental breakfast. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The Eclipse is Coming

Pros: Area was quiet and secure, not far from downtown Portland.
Cons: Fart fan didn't work and general facility updating would help
Bare minimum's available at this outdated facility in Beaverton.

Very old needs updating

Over priced for the property everything is outdated restaurant was closed. Televisions are old CRT style took 7 hours from checking to get a pack and play for my granddaughter carpet through out the property is old and dirty needs restreching has lists of high spots and trip hazards I would not recommend this property to anyone

Pros: not very much other than the rooms are at least reasonable.
Cons: a lot of things, please refer to my comments
Hotel wifi is unstable, and sometimes don't work. Hotel staff not helpful, reluctant to acknowledge problem. Hotel facility is generally poorly kept, some places like gym isn't clean. Out of 2 room cleaning services, 1 was somehow missed. Overall, very unpleasant experience and will not come back. Hotel is more like a 1 star or 1.5 star.

Very old, not Shilo quality

Pros: It was quiet
This hotel is very run down. The bathroom was somewhat clean but very long dark hair strands remained in the shower. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the place stunk like a sweaty gym.

Pros: Nice location. Beautiful setting in Portland's West Hills. Nice staff. Comfortable bed:-)
Cons: Change the table cloths on the tables used for the breakfast.
Very nice, but the building is showing its age. Dirty table cloths at the breakfast should be changed. Restaurant is undergoing renovations so it looked like the breakfast in the banquet room with dirty table cloths was a temporary problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but the building is showing its age. Phone in the room didn't work. Not everyone carries a cell phone, so the in room phone was important to us.
