Sedona Real

Posted Aug 15, 2017
Pros: Convenient location; Staff was wonderful, from the breakfast chef to the concierge.
Location: Work with the Concierge to get fantastic tours- Grand Canyon, desert jeep/hummer; Antelope Canyon, ancient cliff dwelling ruins; lots of hiking trails
Conveniently located; walking distance to pizza place; Note - Sedona essentially closes early (9 pm-10 pm); There is something new to do everyday. Tours pick you up at your hotel, the guides are fantastic - if you have a large group, you will be the only ones on the tour bus/van (10 people was the largest group). If you go to the airport vista to watch the sun-set expect a crowd. There is a hike up to a beautiful view if you don't park in the lot. I am looking forward to returning during a different season. Very pet friendly, especially dogs.

Great, clean rooms close to trails!

Posted Aug 12, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, clean room.
Cons: Buffet breakfast needs to start earlier for the early tourists!
Location: Dry Creek Road is the gateway to many hiking trails. In addition, downtown and uptown Sedona are a short drive away.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The front desk directed us to a concierge service available with local visitor information. Kris, the concierge, was very helpful with providing us with tour information and local trail details. The inn is located close to the downtown area with ample parking. It is also right across from a majority of the trails which was fantastic for a day of hiking. We were offered an upgrade from a double occupancy room to a king which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was finished in granite including the stand-up shower. The room was furnished nicely with an armchair, king bed, desk, TV stand, microwave, and mini-fridge. The only thing that was missing was a safe in the room. The room had many lighting options to allow for a bright or dim space depending on preference. The potlights and the high ceiling in the room made it very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was decent with sausages, baked eggs, scrambled eggs, and baked goods. My only complaint was the timing of breakfast. It was available from 7am to 10am every morning; however, we had a day trip planned for the Grand Canyon and an early Jeep tour the next day. It would have been better to have an earlier breakfast and I am surprised as I am sure other tourists with early morning plans have had the same issues. We requested a late check-out option on the last morning of our stay. The front desk provided us a one hour extension with a smile. Would stay again!

Great value and location within Sedona

Posted Aug 9, 2017
Pros: It was clean, provided great value and the staff was friendly and professional.
Cons: The HVAC system was a little loud.
Location: Awesome hiking & biking trails within minutes of this hotel. My family also took day trips into the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon (as must see).
This hotel offers great value. The hot breakfast was enjoyed each morning by my family, as were the pool and dog/family park. The ONLY complain that I have is that the HVAC system was a little loud and challenging to sleep through without the AC on. Unfortunately it was hot enough in Sedona during our stay that we needed the AC on throughout the night to remain comfortable. Good thing there are so many good hiking trails to take advantage of and we ensured we were really tired so we could sleep as well as possible. You definitely need a rental car in Sedona but everything is within 20-30 min of this hotel and parking is easy enough to find. I would highly recommend the Sedona Real Inn & Suites and an active family oriented vacation in Sedona!

Lovely hotel in red rocks of Sedona

Posted Aug 5, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, easy check-in, had concierge to help guests
Location: Sedona is one of the most visually stunning areas of the country allowing access to a multitude of outdoor activities. Lots of restaurants and stores
Nice hotel with good parking close to rooms. Breakfast was included and quite adequate with a good choice of items. Located on main highway a couple of miles west of town center. Good room lighting and mattresses. Very pleased and plan to stay there again.

Lovely place with friendly, helpful staff.

Posted Aug 4, 2017
Pros: The hotel is located in a nice area within a few minutes drive of the airport, the 'Y' and right at the road you take to Boynton Canyon.
Location: See two boxes above.
We extended our stay at Sedona Real Inn and Suites from the planned four nights to six and the hotel staff went out of its way to accommodate us as we are two friends in need of two separate beds. When we requested the extra two nights, on a weekend, no less, the staff efficiently organized the move to our new room, making it a smooth and easy transition. The dining room is a bright, cheery space where Nancy makes a different egg casserole each day and has a variety of breakfast items.

Clean, comfortable with helpful staff

Posted Aug 2, 2017
Pros: Hotel was in a quiet location and the staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Also has a handy guest laundry.
The hotel is located a little way from the main centre of the town bit is still close to several restaurants and shops. The scenery was breathtaking and you can travel to the Grand Canyon for a day trip (2.5 hrs each way via Flagstaff which makes a good stop en route).

Thank you for taking time to recommend us! It sounds like you had everything you needed (including self-serve laundry) for a fantastic stay. Great tip about the Grand Canyon. The nice thing about making it a day trip is that Sedona has all the services that the canyon lacks - plus amazing hiking and biking. We hope to welcome you again! Best, Rob, GM
