Good place, friendly staff

Posted Sep 25, 2017
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa therapists are top notch though the steam room wasn't working. In the room the heater and fireplace didn't work either but a good space overall

EXPECTED MORE FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE PAID!

Posted Sep 23, 2017
Pros: The location was okay. Grocery store and Starbucks right next door. If we visit Sedona again we will stay uptown or a resort but not West Sedona
Cons: Housekeeping needs to be trained to replenish water, coffee, towels etc. Do not offer "Turn own Service" when it is not available.
Location: Pink Jeep Tours only a few miles away. Shopping and Restaurants only a few miles away
Just visited Sept. 2017. We paid extra for the Andalusia Suite. This suite offered living area, bedroom, 2 balconies, daily coffee, water and turn down service. Hotel also promoted the restaurant on site and rooftop fire pit which sounded enticing. With 2 balconies you would expect a half decent view. Upon arrival the desk staff was very friendly. No bellhop available. Upon entering the room: we found the balconies were Juliette balconies-did not even allow room for a chair and the view was of the hotel not the Red Rocks. The sofa looked 20 years old-felt 40 years old upon sitting on it. Housekeeping: Water was not left on daily basis; coffee and coffee cups were not replenished; glasses with ice bucket were not replenished; vacuum was never run. Turn Down Service: They have no idea what this means! They turned bed down in am and left same candy on pillow each am. We had to call for towels. One employee told us they do not have housekeeping staff other than the am. Roof top fire pit: Every night we were told it was broken-go in courtyard for fire pits. Fine BUT they had all restrooms in this area locked. Not very convenient. Remarkably the staff (other than desk) was unaware of roof top pit requiring repair. Magically, when the hotel parking lot filled some the rooftop fire pit worked. Restaurant: 1 night we came back at 11pm for a night cap-CLOSED. Another evening had dinner at REDS. Waited 15 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table.

Hidden resort fee.

Posted Sep 22, 2017
The hotel was very good and clean, but they hit you with a $22.00 a day resort fee plus AZ 11% sales taxs, so add $25.00 a day plus on top of your expedia cost. They are up front when you check in but you are against the wall to shop around at that point

The hotel was convenient to everything we did. We went to the Grand Canyon, took a jeep tour, Slide Rock Park, and uptown Sedona. Food was excellent too.

Located in area away from tourist businesses.

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Pros: Quiet location with several great restaurants within walking distance.
Easy checkin and nice restaurant. I booked a Premium King Room which was very large. These rooms are outdated and in need of a refresh. We found out later via another guest that the Altameria rooms located on the back side of the property are newly remodeled. I would have appreciated an opportunity to upgrade to these rooms but the front desk did not offer it.

Very nice resort

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: The ambiance, the style of the hotel, pool area
Location: Found it too far from tourist area
Very nice resort. Nice pool area. Had an arrogant, rude waiter at dinner, but Bryan our server for breakfast the next morning was pleasant and efficient and made up for the night before. We both had wonderful hot stone massages at the spa with lovely therapists. Found it too far from the downtown tourist area. Would have been nice to walk around in the evening without having to drive and find parking

Nice hotel, very quiet and relaxing.

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Enjoyed staying here, rooms were clean, although was hoping for a nicer view (patio view was of other rooms) The grounds are pretty, fire pits in the back are a plus to relax to. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool, due to time and being out hiking all day but was great to come back to a clean and tidy room that was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend my friends and family to stay here! Oh yeah check out Reds restaurant, great service.
