could be a really nice hotel with TLC AND PLENTY OF INVESTMENT part of the group who are having trouble in the midlands with migrants seems like government shelling out loads of dosh here as well very intimidating but for the price it did for a 1 off no return book

OK but tired and bathrooms need cleaning.

Pros: Handy location for working, free parking, nice Christmas display in Foyer, main building rooms are a good size, gym (extra cost), staff seem nice.
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms - they need a good clean. Duvets are thin. Free earplugs from reception to block out the M23.
Location: Good for getting to Gatwick, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Haywards Heath.
I’ve stayed here quite a few times whilst working in the area as it’s a good price, location and the parking is free. It’s a bit of a tired place now, though, as the rooms have seen better days, which is fine - if that’s what keeps the price down, then I’m OK with that. But the problem is with the cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, I don’t mind that the gold of the taps is wearing through or similar signs of ageing, but I have issue with them not having been cleaned properly in a long time, as if they are just wiped with a damp cloth without any cleaning agents; and that includes the toilets which tend to smell as, again, they never seem to use any cleaning agents. To make my stay palatable, I actually use my own cleaner and give the toilet and floor a going over - and I’m not even particularly OCD. So the cleaners could be slack, or they may have impossible time scales in order to do the job, have inadequate tools, been set a bad example by their leader, who has been set a bad example by their leader, etc, etc, all they way up to the head of Britannia Hotels - Tired, a bit grimy, but not a bad price does seem to be their USP. Wherever the issue has arisen from, though, the rooms really need a good going over with an industrial cleaner and then kept nicely clean with some pleasant smelling stuff from then onwards. Obviously, without having much or any impact on the price of the rooms, that’s the tricky bit.

Ich war geschäftlich in Crawley, und dafür hat das Hotel allen Anforderungen genügt: Essen ok, ruhige Zimmer, kostenloses W-LAN, freundlicher Service. Ausstattung war ok, die Lobby ist sehr gemütlich. Schade ist, dass das Hotel nicht so gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar ist, außerdem ist das W-Lan auf die Lobby beschränkt. Ansonsten sehr nettes Hotel?

Mouldy room at a decent price

If you want somewhere cheap but dont mind a damp musty room with black mould covered curtains then this is the place for you. It was cheaper than anything else but it seems you get what you pay for

pre and post stay over from holiday to antigua

Stayed over night before taking a flight from Gatwick airport. Hotel very tired and run down, food in upstairs restaurant terrible and not good value for money at all. Also stayed when arrived back into Gatwick for a few hours sleep due to early am landing, booked none smoking rooms and on return had to have a smoking room due no other rooms being available. The room was dirty and smelt terrible of smoke.

Okay for a one night layaway

We stayed at this hotel for a one night layaway. From the airport we took a bus which turned out to be a mistake as we reached over an hour later. I recommend taking a taxi from the airport as this is less than 10 mins drive. Hotel experience was an average 3-star.

Nog nooit zo'n slecht hotel gezien. Overal rook het naar schimmel. Bij het restaurant werd je bijna weggejaagd. Ik raad het af.
