Wonderful ambience, great staff, exceptional cooked breakfast and fresh fruit. Only comments are that the ensuite bathroom was a bit tired, but functioned perfectly. Also there was no fridge in the room.
The room we were allocated had a very low ceiling and was extremely warm. We were given 2 fans to try to cool the room but it didn't make much difference so made for an uncomfortable night's sleep
Lovely Hotel, rooms clean and well furnished, comfy bed, great breakfasts.Only gripes are that the wifi doesn't work anywhere except in the lobby and the shower in my room was set under a sloping ceiling so you had to crouch to get under it - not the best placed shower and I'm not tall.
Stayed here on a short cycle tour. Lovely place but no place to store bikes on the premises so need to lock them up on the street (which we did and encountered no problems). Great pub, rooms and staff.
A forma Embassy which still has retained oak panelled dining rooms. We were upgraded to the bridal suite, with an adjoining bathroom with a fireplace and central bath. A little cold as the winter heating had not been switched. Excellent!!
This was our 4th stay at deans place and as usual we really enjoyed it. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Food is outstanding and good value for money. There is a very good vibe at this place and would highly recommend it.
One night stay. Comfortable bed and room.Considering how close this hotel is to the A27, our room was very quiet; we could even hear sheep bleating! It was clean and pleasant to stay in.
Reading the reviews about the Lamb was what led us to make the reservation. Our experience was that nothing in the reviews was overstated, the pub/hotel/restaurant was friendly, welcoming, comfortable and most of all the restaurant food was of a very high standard. We have no hesitation in making ...
We'd been to stay here 15 years ago. On that occasion It was enjoyable but not life changing! This time however was different. In the interim the hotel had undergone a significant transformation but had retained its unique mediaeval atmosphere. Stunning!
