Overpriced even for a tourist town.Posted Sep 22, 2017
Cons: tear it down and rebuild.
Location: Entrance to Yellowstone National Park and headwaters of the Madison River for excellent fishing.
Lumpy mattress, noisy room, lousy TV reception. Short staffed.

Pros: Great Location
Cons: Rooms need a little bit of updating nothing major just a little something to make them feel a little more comfortable and homey.
Location: Very close to the West Gate of Yellowstone and this town has great little shops and a hometown feel.
I have spent a lot of time in West Yellowstone, but have not stayed at this location before. I was coming into town a day early and needed a room and this was the last available. The room was very clean but depressingly decorated. Rooms just need a little something to make it feel less institutional.

Excellent hotel in west YellowstonePosted Sep 8, 2017
Pros: Wel maintained
Cons: Probably free breakfast in the morning
Location: Plenty of restaurants around. Located at a walking distance from the west gate of Yellowstone
The room was really well maintained and clean. It had all the expected amenities. The place was quite calm and was right next to the Yellowstone gate. The only con of staying here is that you don't get free breakfast in the morning. But they do offer a 10% discount in a nearby restaurant. And there are plenty of restaurants around. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Do not recommend.Posted Aug 25, 2017
We paid $300 for a room that was filthy dirty. The toilet leaked and made the whole bathroom floor sticky. The beds were old and very uncomfortable. I would never stay here again.

Roundup - slightly worn hotelPosted Aug 23, 2017
Cons: Service in English would help.
This hotel is old and worn. There were no bedside lamps or lights over the bed so no chance of reading in the room. The front desk was manned by someone who could not understand English which made it really difficult even when checking in. We paid for 4 days upfront but left 1 day early. On the positive side, it was right by the West Yellowstone gate and close to shops and restaurants.

Sub Standard for the value. Room in disrepair.Posted Aug 22, 2017
Pros: Would not stay there or would not recommend to any outside sources.
Cons: Better trained staff, for follow-up issues. Trade Electrician for follow-up on electrical shorts / problems / issues. Fire Dept inspection follow-up
Location: Good location
Blew a room breaker from a huge short when bed light turned on. Took two hours to source a "non-electrician" to replace with an adhoc fix. No amenity in building (Ice Machine). Staples from rug going into bathroom were protruding. Felt with bare feet. Wireless service was very poor-almost unaccommodating. Air Conditioning was weak stature to others in comparison. Bathroom cleanliness was less than satisfactory. Was refused a receipt for room at check-out. Soft Drink machine would not accept cash for vending.

Pricey, minimalist motel. Worn out, no outlets, cold shower, light on only one side of bed. Seemed clean enough.
