Nice spot!

Posted Nov 10, 2017
All good, close to park, only negative was sink and shower drains partially clogged in bathroom. Breakfast that came with room was adequate, they should change time from 7-10am to 630-930am as most people want an opportunity to get into park earlier.

Historic Hotel

Posted Nov 6, 2017
Older hotel that has been updated several times. Small bathrooms - but functional. Ok breakfast - great if you like waffles. Workout equipment is fair. Pool was very clean - no jacuzzi. Neat taxidermy work throughout the lobby. Nice underground parking garage - no need to scrape ice and snow.

I was staying in that hotel for 2 nights on my Yellowstone trip and it was GREAT! The lobby is very nice and welcoming, receptionist and staff are super nice, Breakfast was great, and the room was big and comfy ! topping that the hotel is super close to Yellowstone National Park which makes it even better!

Noisy room...checked in late during a wind storm.

Posted Nov 2, 2017
Pros: It was nothing special, but the animals in the lobby were interesting.
Cons: Fix the sign outside this room.
Location: West Yellowstone is small so everything is close. the park is close. No need for me to explain more.
After getting to my room the wind was blowing the hotel sign just outside my room. I called the front desk and asked for another room that was quiet so I could sleep. The clerk said the only available room was an upcharge of $30. I replied that was not acceptable and to give me a quiet room. He would not so I told him to refund my money, and that I was leaving. He said I'd have to go to Expedia for the refund. I was packing up and he called again to say the handicap room was available, so I took that. He should have given me an upgrade room for the inconvenience of putting me in a noisy room forcing me to move rooms. It was late and I was tired. Bad PR.

Beware of aggressive, intoxicated, racist staff

Posted Nov 1, 2017
We stayed here for two nights in early October. The hotel "appears" to be of a standard that you would expect for the price. What we experienced was, however, the opposite of hospitality. One thing stood out rather badly - being shouted at by a person who worked at the hotel for using the wrong driveway to the car park (we went through the driveway for the staff quarters - aren't we terrible people?!). For this honest mistake, we were aggressively pursued by this person who was clearly intoxicated, ranting about this trifling error (including ramblings that Asian drivers would likely repeat our mistake) whilst swaying to stay on his feet. We felt unsafe. This person claimed to be the security manager (how ironic), which we couldn't quite believe until we entered the hotel whereby another staff member confirmed this person was his boss. It is entirely possible that this encounter is not reflective of other hardworking staff at the hotel (other than the guy who refused to allow us to collect our (already) dried clothes from the laundry because it was after 10pm - hardly accomodating With a plentiful selection of accommodation available in west Yellowstone, why would you stay here?

Stagecoach inn was nice it’s old but renovated. I would have liked it better had my air condition worked better.

This Hotel is nice and cozy, the continental breakfast would be an improvement with gluten free options besides bananas and hard boiled eggs.

Nice hotel close to Yellowstone and shops

Posted Oct 29, 2017
Great hotel. Very nice staff. Indoor pool was great. Hotel is located right by the Yellowstone entrance and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Continental breakfast was wonderful, they had yogurt, bananas, hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, toast, pastries, coffee and plenty of juices to choose from.
